What most people also don't realize is that Russia has already accumulated a sufficient number of war ships in the Black Sea region. Closing the straits this late during the war is not going to have any effect on the current course of events - not even in the slightest - but we would hurt our national interests in the long term massively.

Support Ukraine just to hurt Russia for what it did in Syria but avoid becoming a party to this mess at all costs.

We need to remind ourselves that all these nations sanctioning and condemning Moscow are going to the same to Turkey in case a war breaks out between us and the Greeks.
