Losses of Ukraine during the counteroffensive in the Kherson direction. The first footage of the consequences of the unsuccessful counter-offensive of the Ukrainian army in the Kherson direction began to appear. Officially, approximately 26 tanks, 23 infantry fighting vehicles, two Su-25 attack aircraft and 560 soldiers are reported to have been lost by the Ukrainian army. There is no video for all the affected equipment yet. Now you can see only a part of the affected military equipment of Ukraine. The result of this counteroffensive was the capture of the settlements of Andreevka and Lozovoe, several others have already been lost by the Ukrainian army. According to the latest data, Russia launched a counteroffensive.

Armed Forces of Ukraine are moving to the outskirts of Kherson🇺🇦

Ukrainian soldiers are already at a distance of 10 km from Kherson / General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Meanwhile, panic is growing among the invaders. The Russians understand that they are surrounded.

Ukrainian troops are confidently moving towards Kherson. At the beginning of the day, they were at a distance of about 20 km from the outskirts of the city. Today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have advanced, but it is difficult to predict by how much.

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov told Natalya Moseychuk about this during an interview.

According to him, the General Staff has not yet commented on exactly how the front line in the Kherson region has changed. At the same time, CNN reports that there have been significant changes in favor of Ukrainian troops. Few specifics.

"There are more than 10 kilometers to Kherson. That's for sure," Zhdanov stated.

The expert noted that now the Armed Forces of Ukraine are "working" against an enemy group on the right bank of the Dnieper. This is quite expected.

"I predicted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would systematically and methodically take out this grouping with the help of artillery, including rocket launchers, and aviation. It would be expedient. Now there is an interruption in logistics routes. This is what we have been observing for the third day ... The only the problem now is to catch the ferry at the Antonovsky bridge. It is constantly moving. In order to catch it, you need a spotter on the spot who will tell you when it stops for loading or unloading," Zhdanov said.

The expert stated that the Russian troops in the Kherson region were not only surrounded. They are also cut in half. Crossings across the Ingulets River were destroyed. There is no communication between the two parts of the enemy grouping.

Zhdanov stressed that genuine panic is already reigning among the occupiers, which is also confirmed by intercepts. The Russians understand that the bridges are destroyed, there are no escape routes, they are trapped.

"In fact, they (the Russians - UNIAN) feel what we felt in the Donetsk direction. We take them out of their positions. If possible, we will move forward. There are two options: either they flee or surrender," he said.

Zhdanov recalled that a month ago, residents of the Kherson region told how the Russians, after strikes on the Antonovsky bridge, bought up all the swimming facilities. The occupiers who have stocked up with air mattresses have a chance of being saved. However, as the expert notes, it will be extremely difficult to cross the Dnieper, and almost impossible with ammunition and ammunition.

Surprising it took 6 months of war to get even this.

This is after all just visa facilitation.....rather than carte blanche visa ban (i.e they will still issue visas, but Russia will be lumped in with rest of world like China, India, South America, Africa etc).

This should have been done in 2014 itself when crimea and donbass happened simply on the consistent principle of the matter...that Russia is making violent moves putting larger Europe into higher security risk.

Europe still has some morbid psychological dependency and latency with Russia.

The western media fawning over Gorbachev now is another example of it.....they dont understand how to delineate what was good and what was bad (and do a strict rational analysis of what he did , what others did and why USSR collapsed)....but rather invent some narrative they prefer.

Man as much as I love stalker.

I dont mind stalker 2 getting cancelled.

Their lives, their families and their pets are more important than a videogame they dont really need to do this. Interesting many developers have joined the war.

As a result of the shelling, the 5th power unit of Zaporoje Nuclear Power Plant was switched off

Besides:
▪️the backup power line for auxiliary needs of ZAES-330 kV was damaged;
▪️Russian helicopters are flying over Energodar, which are shelling residential areas of the city. Also, Russian military equipment was seen in the city;
Rusnya states that "Ukrainian troops with two DRGs up to 60 people in seven boats landed 3 km northeast of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and attempted to seize the power plant."

Rashists continue to heat up the situation before the arrival of the IAEA.

IAEA mission left Zaporozhye for Energodar despite reports of heavy shelling, Reuters writes

⚡️Members of the IAEA mission were forced to stop moving due to shelling and are now at the checkpoint in Novoaleksandrovka

Now the mission is about 20 km from the front line. Russia continues provocations.

US war-gamed with Ukraine ahead of counteroffensive and encouraged more limited mission

Washington (CNN)In the buildup to the current Ukrainian counteroffensive, the US urged Kyiv to keep the operation limited in both its objectives and its geography to avoid getting overextended and bogged down on multiple fronts, multiple US and western officials and Ukrainian sources tell CNN.

Those discussions involved engaging in "war-gaming" with Kyiv, the sources said -- analytical exercises that were intended to help the Ukrainian forces understand what force levels they would need to muster to be successful in different scenarios.

Russians are not cut off in Kherson. The bridges are damaged but still can supply through barges.
