No jokes here, for sure I could be wrong but I interpret this as a red line to Russia on using nuclear weapons, as China has been forced by the situation to make those statements. So.... what's next ? Blowing up a marine oil/gas platform supplying EU ?

I think Putin would do something nasty, probably not nuclear, but it seems he doesn't have anything more to do as trying to scalate the conflict or blackmail west with their nuclear menace. Just guessing here but it seems Putin wants to fight to the end or sending clearly that message.

Even well known pro-Ru accounts are accepting Lyman is encircled now without exit more than a dangerous scape through the forests and fields.

Be safe.

The Ukrainians made a choice. USA and his man chose Zelensky. Every choice has a price. Ukrainians are now paying that price. That's why it's pointless for them to play the victim. While every nation in the world was moving away from the USA and its supporters, the Ukrainians sat on the lap of the USA. Just like the Greeks do now. The Greeks will pay the price!?

to stay. “It’s important because I’m
against the murder of people in a
neighbouring country and that my
people become murderers.”
More worryingly for the Kremlin,
observers say, is the unrest that is
bubbling up away from the big cities
and in the regions, traditionally
strongholds of the regime.
Perhaps most strikingly, Chechnya,
by far the country’s most repressive
region, saw its fi rst protest since the
ruthless strongman Ramzan Kadyrov
came to power 15 years ago, when a
few dozen women gathered outside
a mosque to voice anger about their
sons being drafted.
Many Russians have already voted
with their feet, with the mobilisation
leading to a surge in the number of men of military age leaving the country .
Sam Greene, a professor of Russian
politics at King’s College London and
co-author of Putin v the People, said
that with the call for mobilisation,
Putin has “made the war a lot more
real for people than it was before”.
“For many who were enthusiastic
about the invasion, staying silent was
still the preferred option, given the
risks protesters face. But now, with
the real possibility of being sent to the front, that calculus has changed.”
In his nightly speech last Thurs￾day, Ukraine’s president Volodymyr
Zelenskiy decided to address Russians directly in their native language.
“Fifty-fi ve thousand Russian sol￾diers died in this war in six months,”he said.
“Tens of thousands are wounded and maimed. Want more? No? Then protest. Fight back. Run away. Or surrender to Ukrainian captivity. These are the options for you to survive.

Russia-Georgian Border

IMG_20220928_132944_947.jpg

Queues on the Russian-Georgian border are not shortened.

In order to walk, people have to stand for more than a day, and in a car queue - for several days. Gasoline, water and food are running out, and it is almost impossible to replenish supplies.

The cost of bikes skyrocketed at the border. Because bikes are allowed to pass border faster.
