Perhaps if Russia were not create problem for Turkiye in nearly every front (specially in Syria) last 10 years and sincerely support instead of cooperating with Washington behind scenes things would be like you said.One suggestion for you if Russia wants to protect itself from Western aggression that will hit upcoming years its gonna need a bulwark nation happens to control pathways said aggression will come from.Of course for this to happen this bulwark nation has to be fully independent from American influence which will take both economic stability and to be nuclear weapon holder.If Russia were to take certain decisions today (which will require huge leaps of faith) she may find herself that allied bulwark nation in the future.
