Three times the separatists used weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements. The Ukrainian military returned fire.
During the day, on October 27, the separatists in the Donbas violated the ceasefire 15 times, three times with the use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements. This was reported by the press center of the JFO headquarters on Thursday, October 28.
Near Granitnoye, the separatists fired twice from 122 mm artillery and 120 mm mortars. In the direction of Luhansk, the enemy fired four times, using grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and other small arms. Near Novotoshkovsky, the enemy opened fire from small arms.
In the direction of Novolugansk and Water, the mercenaries used hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers. In the area of Lebedinsky and Zaitsev, shelling was carried out from grenade launchers of various systems and small arms. Not far from Shirokoye, the enemy opened fire from heavy anti-tank grenade launchers.
Positions near Kryakovka came under fire from 120 mm mortars. Near Granitnoye, the separatists, using a drone, dropped unknown explosive devices.
Also in the Donetsk region, an enemy drone overflew with the crossing of the demarcation line was recorded.
"As a result of hostile actions, one soldier received an injury incompatible with life," it said.
In turn, the Ukrainian military opened fire in return and forced the enemy to stop shelling without using weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements.
Since the beginning of the day, one violation of the ceasefire regime has been recorded. Near Luhansk, the separatists fired from heavy anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. There are no casualties among the military personnel of the Joint Forces.
