That makes sense, what i knew from past decade country is basicaly split 50 50 regarding support towards west or russia, maybe this coolness and confidence from russian side is not just because they have military superiority over ukrainians.
If war has to happen i hope it will be swift, decisive and minimal casualties possible. It would be cathastrofic for whole world if Ukraina become prolonged war conflict zone for longer period of time, especially because west does not really care to much about them.
Given that the same people now in control of Ukraine genocided 30,000,000 people in the Russian Empire, many Ukrainians, they don't care about Ukraine at all. Just overthrowing to the Russian ruling class and taking Russia over.

Can I ask why do
I forgot to add, if russia meets all desired goals it will have some ramifications for Turkiye too, you can forget engine and military industry cooperation which gained traction in last years, that is is something you will have to deal with as it will probably slow down some of ongoing projects.
Is that because of Russia being big and hard after taking Ukraine or because of greater American sanctions on Russia?

Because some did not live through the Cold War of the 80's, I just believe that in the event that there is an engagement with conventional weapons between US and Russian forces, then I believe that there is a possibility of using nuclear weapons over 80% !!!

No, it is simple logic there is no reason for Russia to transfer or help Turkiye with crucial technologies and make it easier for potential competitor and well established enemy trough history, i do not see realistic base for expanding ties beyond cordial and fair bussiness conducts. And Turks are in good position now again to milk West with laugh on their faces.

There's a very tight protocol to launch nukes, I don't think minor (or even major) skirmish between NATO and Russia would result in a nuclear exchange. Nukes are last ditch weapons.

UK Geostrategy Council releases map of potential alliance

The map of a potential union shows a triple axis between London, Warsaw and Kiev. The territories of Russia and Belarus are marked as hostile.

The UK is considering a tripartite alliance with Poland and Ukraine. This was confirmed by British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss, according to the website of the British government.

According to her, the partnership between the countries is developing after high-level talks in London in December.

The UK Geostrategy Council on its Twitter published a map of a potential alliance, which shows the triple axis between London, Warsaw and Kiev.

Territories of Russia and Belarus are designated as hostile

Recall that British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss warned Russia that in the event of an invasion of Ukraine, the Kremlin would get a war comparable to the campaigns in Afghanistan or Chechnya.

On the geo-political surface I would agree with you. However there is an global factional war going on between the globalists and civilizations. With Russia/China/Iran on one side and the 'west' on the other. Turkey was part of the west, but the west tried to overthrow its ruling faction. So does that make the current Turkish elite part of the west or the civilization faction. Right now I think Turkey is trying to plot its own course, however in the end it will need to pick a side. And if it chooses the civilization side and not the globalist side, that would open massive alliance potential between Turkey and Russia. Britain and France were historical enemies for 800 years plus, then they allies against the central European Empires. In another factional conflict for world domination.

The Turkish economy is in a bad place right now, government policies making it worse, you are trying to create military bases which you can't support because you don't control the Suez canal, you are supporting smaller allied states and are being sucked into the Balkans, you are being pressured by France and Greece in the mediterranean. So an alliance with Russia would basically solve your issues, even a general partnership with Russia.

Britain is ruled by retards, that's all. The Russians aren't retarded. Liz Truss is a joke, this neo-con think tank is evil and needs to be shut down. How anyone in the British establishment could even consider something so stupid goes to prove the faction they work for is evil, wants war with Russia and wants Britain to die. Britain has no way to support Poland or Ukraine, no army to fight Russia, no navy to send against Russia and not ability to operate its air force overseas at the scale needed to take on Russia or support Poland/Ukraine.

The head of the German Navy resigned - media

TEXT: ELENA BURKALO, January 22, 2022, 23:09

After his statements about Crimea, Vice Admiral Kai-Achim Schönbach decided to resign, according to German publications.

Vice Admiral Kai-Achim Schönbach, Commander-in-Chief of the German Naval Forces, resigned after declaring that the annexed Crimea would never return to Ukraine. This was reported by the newspaper Bild on Saturday evening, January 22.

According to her, German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht and Inspector General of the Bundeswehr Eberhard Zorn accepted Schönbach's resignation.

Similar information was published by the German magazine Spiegel, citing its own sources. As noted in the publication, in this way the vice admiral "came out of an awkward situation."

Recall that earlier Shenbakh said that Ukraine would not be able to return Crimea, and its entry into NATO was impossible due to the occupation.

US and Germany denied information about the evacuation of diplomats from Kiev - media

TEXT: ELENA BURKALO, January 23, 2022, 00:27

Washington did not announce the evacuation of its diplomats from Ukraine

Washington and Berlin say they are not preparing any measures to reduce the staff of the embassies.

The US State Department and the German Foreign Ministry on Saturday, January 22, announced that they did not intend to evacuate employees of their embassies in Ukraine.

According to TASS, the State Department noted that they have nothing to announce at the moment and that the department carefully plans contingency actions in case the security situation worsens, but this is a common practice.

In addition, the American diplomat recalled that the US authorities have already recommended that compatriots reconsider their plans to visit Ukraine, so if evacuation is needed, it will not be carried out at the expense of the state.

In turn, the German agency FAZ, citing sources in the German Foreign Ministry, reports that Berlin is not preparing "any measures to reduce the staff of the embassy or to remove their family members."

"We are closely monitoring the security situation of the staff of our diplomatic missions in Ukraine, and we are also in close contact with our partners in the European Union and at the international level," the ministry assured.

Russians saber rattling with TNW's is not helping though.
