Iran can get those from china as well.If The shahed 136 suicide drone is guided by GPS and GPS is owned by the US, why doesn't the US cut GPS use by iran since it is used to guide its suicide drone.

No surprise at all, early in the war some LPR draftees are issued Mosin Nagant.
Gear to mobilized units
Kremlin replaces the deputy defense minister responsible for logistics in full mobilization
For comparison the US spends ~$800B annually
$600B for around 3 years corresponds to ~200B around what China spends in a year
Russia is becoming increasingly Iranian, at least as liar as Iranian regime, and at least as delusionai as Iranian regime. Which economy will they earn 600 billion dollars and spend with which technology? They cannot dress up properly at the reserves they have received and equip them with museum weapons. This mafia organization, which occupies and spends a significant part of the world territory, should destroyed.very interesting, just telling u, they will go for round 2 and beyond.

I could understand the StG-44 used as infantry rifle, the only thing that bothers me is if there's any 7.92 Kurz round left aroundLots of surplus ww2 weapons being used in conflicts worldwide.
Syrian Rebels used STG44s.

STG44 even made its way into African conflicts like the Ogaden War.
No surprise that the Mosin Nagant is being used because there is so many of them around.

Mosin Nagant otoh, unless used for DMR and sniping purpose doesn't serve well for modern fight, the volume of fire is too low. You'll need like 10 men to achieve the same volume of fire of an assault rifle.
Also AK-47 aren't that hard to produce, some machinist in the Luzon (Philippines) and Pakistan's tribal area could make those with simple machining tool. I wonder why industrialized Russia doesn't just simply make more of those AKs instead of free giving Mosin Nagant.
From my understanding those are empty announcements... trying to do whatever is posible to improve his conditions to avoid a mayor defeat and its horrible consecuences, he is putting everything to win a "small" defeat and maintain a pyrrhic cohesion indoors or falling into the dismemberment of Russian Federation.very interesting, just telling u, they will go for round 2 and beyond.
It is a grave mistake that US allowed Russia to develop atom bombs after WW2. They should have finished it of right after the war. Also it was a big mistake that the West invested so much in Russia after 1990s and helped their economy. It is all because of globalization and profit maximizing. Russia should be degraded to Moscow and St. Petersburg, and even after that shrinking the relations should be very controlled with them. But the West never learns.

If Putin stopped it before it wouldn't hurt as much as at he point we are now. It remains me to Portugal's Carnation Revolution, it ended with a mayor revolt involving
extremely worn soldiers and students who didn't want to figth overseas and dying in their last African colonies.
It was almost an imposible national objective and it turned out in just a personal political matter to avoiding the regime to fall. But Portugal is ~185 times smaller than Russian Federation and they only have a culture and language.
Right now calling to a fake "Partial movilization" for dying in an agression against a peaceful country, he personaly did the step knowing the probable results, and using it as a political weapon against western countries, just like desperately anexing parts of Ukraine to justify the use of nuclear weapons.
What Putin doesn't understand, and right now nobody wants to let him know as people keep falling from windows, is the west seems together to overcome the consecuences of the war, and we won't have a peace while Russia behaves like that, no matter the time or the money it will require.
The ones buying Russian gas are left to countries like China and that is with a steep decrease in price, that's China's mercantilism for u, so Russia will be in a tight position in which what for it decide to use its oil money. Nit to mention money getting corrupted in the way.Russia wont forget these actions by the west, irrelevant of those will replace putin, thats just the way it is, either russia gets what they want or the west will be in a constant fight to defend itself for the next decades til one side has finally lost, I also dont think that such procurements are empty announcements, they do have the revenue streams via oil and gas, thats a lot of money- a lot, especially for a country like Russia which has a much lower living cost and lower wages then the US for example they can certainly increase the size of modern arms considerably.
Its gonna be interesting.
