That is to say that Putin wont use nukes the moment he is 100% guaranteed to lose!

Rn, the Ukrainians have a bit of an edge; if more successes are achieved, then the pressure on Putin will increase and he will resort to Nuclear weapons 100%!

And tbh, Ukrainians arent fighting alone since they have the support of nearly the whole west and the supply of more advanced weaponry than what Russia uses like Himar and TB2!
No nation stood with Georgia when it was annexed but a lot of factors forced the West to stand with Ukraine and this is a good point to remember. Therefore, we can be assured that Ukraine isnt fighting alone at all and may they win against Putin since if he got Ukraine, then it will be bad for everybody

The cracks were well present in Chechnya and Georgia.

Russians recognised the need to modernise to be on par with Nato.

But it seems all that so called modernisation plans of the Russian armed forces budget got funneled somewhere by modern day Russian Boyars aka Oligarchs working alongside Putin.

HOLD LYMAN!!!

MOSCOW, 30 September. /TASS/. Dmitry Medvedev, deputy head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, called Ukraine's application to join NATO a request from Kiev to "accelerate the start of a third world war." He expressed this opinion on Friday in his Telegram channel.

“Zelensky wants to accelerate NATO membership. Great idea. Just begging the North Atlantic Alliance to speed up the start of a third world war,” Medvedev wrote.

Just published statement from Stoltenburg who says that Ukraine cannot join NATO.

NATO is not a party to the conflict - says NATO

NATO will not participate in the war in Ukraine, because "the war will end before Ukraine passes all the necessary procedures to join the Alliance," said Mikhail Podolyak, advisor to the head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine

Some russian defense user's response in regards of NATO launching conventional warfare if anyone wants to give insight on that?

The lowlife in the US is really pushing this point. "if Russia uses a nuke in Ukraine , that counts as an attack on Nato."
Both parties reiterated it now. Because the radiation will travel to nato borders.

How much soldiers could Nato bring to the fight if they were to enter Ukraine in the west for a conventional attack ?

40.000 troops.

As that is give or take what they can call upon on their NRF (NATO Response Force)
Their vehicles are 60 percent operable.
Spare parts and vehicles are on backorder for at least a year or two.

Personnel is sub-standard.
Not meeting physical demands, not enough active servicemen where only 45 to 50 percent of vacancy's filled.
Not trained enough.

Munition stocks are what they use on training exercises on an year.
So they will run out in about 48-72 hours in any direct engagement.

Logistical capacity of NATO is almost non-existent.
they all hire almost solely civilian contractors.

Get this as bonus, the last winter training NATO did in Poland, the Polish Troops had to vacate all their barracks so the NATO troops could stay in there.
As they basically did not had winter gear and where about to freeze their troops asses off in standard winter conditions.

Personally i can confirm that, since 2006 i had to buy my own winter gear to prevent frostbite on exercises.
It is pathetic really.

That's more than enough, this is NATO, not Russia, their airpower will wreck any opposition and those 40.000 would just walk in after NATO jets pulverize targets on the ground

Again issues which is only found in Russia (and Belarus) lately.

Apparently Russians have completely lost touch with reality. You better stop these delusional circlejerks because reality has not lost touch with you.

Ukraine has more destroyed MRLS systems than Turkey does in its entire MRLS inventory stockpile! Ukraine is given nonstop 24/7 support from NATO, satellite information, trained foreign mercenaries are using their new supplied equipment and where to attack Russian positions, trained for 8 years by NATO. the 50k body count was around May, they have stopped counting since as of now(that was a 3 month period), but we do know that over 10k ukrainians died in that charge(pro-ukrainUkraine has more destroyed MRLS systems than Turkey does in its entire MRLS inventory stockpile! In addition, the comparison between the US fighting Iraq and Russia fighting Ukraine is really nonexistent.

Ukraine is supported by NATO with modern equipment incl. manpads and javelins, army training, western mercenaries (e.g. blackrock), satellite imagery, high altitude UAV's. We have already seen the hourly reports coming from US with exact locations of Russian troops. I have no doubt there is a dedicated operations room in the Pentagon where teams of strategists are working around the clock working on strategy and troop movement. The US is involved deeply and most probably actually running the show while Zelinsky is a fundraiser for the military industrial complex.

Iraq had none of that. A few Toyotas with guns and outdated material what was left after Desert Storm 1 was finished. Still the US lost over 4.500 people in comparison to shogui's last rt interview a week to two weeks ago being 5,937 russian troops, and Iraqi civilian casualties ended up around 250k. Could the U.S. beat Ukraine while having the same GDP, military spending and under sanctions as Russia does? U.S. is threatening the Chinese with a 2 day visa suspension and I am hearing reports about the U.S. blocking Visas to Indians for 800 days

if anyone compares U.S. military operations to this Russian operation is mentally retarded and I dont think you have done that so thats a plus. Also Russia has yet to use 1/4th or 1/3rd of their active duty personel from the army, navy or airforce to get involved in this operation from the 1,150,000 active duty pool, No one has fought a similiar war like this like you cant compare U.S. airforce bombing S-75s and S-125s to russians bombing S-300s. I wonder how many supplies current NATO countries currently has from losing so much in this war along with the U.S. helping Russia tank central europes economy to see if they can even afford new military equipment later.

This is too long of an explanation to the point of coping 😁. 16 donated HIMARS turned the tide of war, ps: the US operated ~500 of those.

That's all people need to know. 😊

There are two scenarios for Russian nuclear strikes on Ukraine, what response can NATO prepare - ISW

Putin wants to freeze the conflict on the current front lines

Analysts note that Putin will not be able to take over Ukraine by using nuclear weapons.

Putin’s annexation speech made several general references to nuclear use that are consistent with his past language on the subject, avoiding making the direct threats that would be highly likely to precede nuclear use.

Putin is attempting to force Kyiv to the negotiating table by annexing Russian-occupied territory and threatening nuclear use.[2] He is following the trajectory that ISW forecasted he might on May 13.

Putin’s call for negotiations and implicit nuclear threats are aimed at both Ukraine and the West; he likely incorrectly assesses that his nuclear brinksmanship will lead the United States and its allies to pressure Ukraine to negotiate.

ISW cannot forecast the point at which Putin would decide to use nuclear weapons. Such a decision would be inherently personal, but Putin’s stated red lines for nuclear weapon use have already been crossed in this war several times over without any Russian nuclear escalation.

Putin would likely need to use multiple tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine to achieve his desired operational effect—freezing the front lines and halting Ukrainian counteroffensives. But the operational effect would need to outweigh the potentially very high costs of possible NATO retaliation.

Russian nuclear use would therefore be a massive gamble for limited gains that would not achieve Putin’s stated war aims.

The more confident Putin is that nuclear use will not achieve decisive effects but will draw direct Western conventional military intervention in the conflict, the less likely he is to conduct a nuclear attack.

Years ago the Russians backtracked an agreement and shot dead Ukrainian soldiers who retreated.

With many getting killed.

What goes around comes around. As the Russian themselves a trapped.

Actually, i saw the context you replied to: Ukraine will come out stronger, will leave the margins to become an important and strong state!
This conflict is a disaster for them, especially in a dwindling demographic spiral. Georgia is not thriving, yet they suffered the russian aggression! Analyse better, the wishful thinking is futile.

of course it’s a disaster. It all happened before our eyes.
And again read better. I won’t be analyzing my piece word by word to convince you. See ya around
