Two things.

1). It's going to take a while for these Abrams to get into Ukrainian service because the U.S. has to strip them down of their depleted uranium armor and some of their highly advanced systems that they don't want the Russians to get their hands on. They'll be replaced by lesser capable systems that will still work as well as anything Russia can field.

2). 31 tanks is one Ukrainian tank battalion. The USA needs to use their training capacity in Germany to up the number tanks they use in a battalion to a Western standard of at least 44 (Leopard battalion) or 56 (U.S. Abrams Brigade). Most importantly, I'd like the see the USA plan a full Brigade of American armor to be transferred together, by summer. Biden has more that $15 Billion left in his most recent package of presidential drawdown authority. I'd like to see a 2000-3000 strong mechanized infantry brigade of Ukrainian VOLUNTEERS, trained by Americans in Germany, over a 3-4 month period, return to Ukraine with a Brigade that consists of...

56x M1A2 Abrams MBTs (with an additional 20x in reserve to replace losses)
150x Bradley M2 IFVs
75x Stryker APCs
75x HMMVs (Mixed .50 Cal, Grenade launcher, TOW variants)
18x M109A6 Paladin Howitzers (with an additional 6x in reserve in order to rotate guns in and out of maintenance)

This brigade should be fully equipped with everything it needs, including, but not limited to the following:
- Western small arms weapons with night and thermal optics.
- No fewer than 2000 Javelin and NLAW ATGM, as well as 100 Javelin CLU.
- No fewer than 5000 AT4 and M72 LAW anti armor weapons.
- No fewer than 3000 TOW missiles.
- No fewer than 2000 Excalibur rounds for their howitzers.
- As much mixed small arms ammunition (5.56, 7.62, .50 Cal, launchable grenades, etc) as is necessary.
- As much 25mm Bradley ammunition and 120mm Sabot and HE Abrams ammunition as is necessary.
- Modern drones (with thermals) as required.
- Dozens of 60mm, 82mm and 120mm mortars, with thousands of mortar rounds.

Even if that Brigade costs $8-10 Billion to equip, train and ship to Ukraine, it should and could be done. It would be an absolute nightmare for the Russians , especially if supported properly by Western intelligence. Ukrainian SOF and airpower and mobile air defense. And it doesn't have to be paid for entirely by the Americans either. There are lots of countries that are near / at their limit of military resources that they can afford to send to Ukraine, but who have huge economies and could help the Americans pay for such a package. Countries such as Britain, Canada, Denmark, Netherlands, Sweden, Australia, etc. These countries could each chip in $500 million and bring down the cost for the Americans, so that they maintain as much of their drawdown authority as possible, for future packages.

Yes, as it turns out, the movie is back to the beginning in the Ukraine war. So far we have always followed the same scenario.

Here ukraine will be given himars, oooh the war is over, the russians are ruined, the result is zero. Ukraine will be given a harm missile, Sam systems oooh the russians will be destroyed, the war will be and, the russians will lose. the result is zero.

Now, the western and nato trolls and propaganda channels have started again, we will give ukraine leopard and m1 mbt and we will win the war.

What do you think the result will be? I the result will be zero again. :)

**Washington sold almost double the amount of weapons to NATO members in 2022, which was fraught with increased security concerns with the war in Ukraine. The biggest buyers, Poland and the Baltic countries, were the countries that attracted attention by signing a $28 billion arms deal.**

Do you think the USA will give a weapon to Ukraine that will end the Ukraine-Russia war? I think he wouldn't give this type of weapon when there are so many weapons and energy sales opportunities.

I think it is necessary to add biden and one more war to this photo.

You add importance as if you were talking about a destructive nuclear bomb, not gmrls in your article. :)

But 15 Himars is not as effective as 15 Lancet 3.

Hahaha :)
The Russian obsession with the Lancet drone is hilarious. It's the only piece of modern equipment that they can brag about, so they never miss an opportunity to highlight it lol.

Here is the reality, the loss of a single Buk1 system is not detrimental to Ukraine's air defense. When you start showing me videos of Patriot systems, NASAMs and Iris-T being blown up, I'll agree that's a huge blow. Buk is just old Soviet junk from another era.

As for the M777, Ukraine was given 152 of them by USA, Canada and Australia, early in the war. We've seen visual proof of what 4-5 of them being destroyed? Let's double that number and assume that some have been destroyed that we haven't seen yet. So there's what? 140-142 left in service. Meanwhile, Estonia just gave Ukraine another 24 FH-70, 155mm howitzers, which serve the same purpose for Ukraine as the M777 does. So while Russian and Russian simps cheer on the destruction of a couple M777s via lancet drone, Ukraine's stockpile of western howitzers has grown substantially, despite Russia's best efforts to counter them. For every 1 that Russia destroys, the West gives Ukraine 2-3 more of the same or similar weapons.

Between USA, Australia and Canada they have another roughly 1000 M777s in their stockpile... If Russia destroys let's say 50 (they're a long way away from that) of the 152 that were initially sent, it's nothing for NATO to send them 50 more to replace their losses. It's a largely outdated piece of equipment (by NATO's standards) that is slowly being replaced by more sophisticated, more capable, self-propelled howitzers.

Also, the following has been ordered or announced for Ukraine and will arrive during 2023 and 2024. Enjoy Russia!

100x Panzerhaubitze 2000, 155mm self propelled howitzers (Germany)
72x M119 / L119, 105mm towed howitzers (USA)
54x Krab, 155mm self propelled howitzers (Poland)
42x D-30, 122mm self propelled howitzers (Estonia)
30x AS90, 155mm self propelled howitzers (Britain)
26x Dana M2, 152mm self propelled howitzers (Czech Republic)
24x FH-70, 155mm towed howitzers (Estonia)
19x Caesar, 155mm self propelled howitzers (Denmark)
18x M109A6 Paladin, 155mm self propelled howitzers (USA)
18x RCH, 155mm self propelled howitzers (Germany)
16x Zuzana-2, 155mm self propelled howitzers (Slovakia)
12x Archer, 155mm self propelled howitzers (Sweden)

Ukraine has 431 more howitzers on the way over the next 2 years, on top of the roughly 382 (give or take 20) that have already been sent to Ukraine an are currently in service with the Ukrainian army. They're going to lose some of them to Russia because it's war and nothing is invincible in war, but their artillery is getting much better and more capable, not less.

I need to see indication that they can build them to some sort of scale before I'm going to count them as potentially difference making. For example, can they build 18 of them (a full battalion) and put them into service THIS year? If they can, that's meaningful, but I'd like to see some evidence of them in the field first.

I genuinely hope that Ukraine can produce (to scale) their Bohdana howitzers!

True , but western tanks are more sophisticated than soviet tanks , it will pose a challenge to the ukrainiens
well, almost a year Ukranian use western stuff, they tremendeously good using them, and the fact is, lot of reliability problems found when western stuff used by UA in term of how intense they use the weapons againts Ru

Rogozin said that he would destroy the leopards and Abrams with the help of the new Marker drone.
