well, almost a year Ukranian use western stuff, they tremendeously good using them, and the fact is, lot of reliability problems found when western stuff used by UA in term of how intense they use the weapons againts Ru
Yes you are right, the ukraines use western weapons very well. 90 percent of it was burned, broken up or abandoned. That's why NATO and Eu are still trying to send the same equipment to the ukrainian army.

Maybe this war was planned that way from the beginning. Nobody complains when giving guns. No one is striving for peace. Somehow the dead are Ukrainian and Russian, insignificant people. Let the Europeans and Americans not be harmed. But let Russia be weakened.

Sivkov believes that with a favorable combination of circumstances, Western tanks will be destroyed on the approach, with an unfavorable combination of circumstances for Russia, Western tanks will break through Russia's defenses, break into the rear and be destroyed. After that, the West will use aviation, whose pilots will not be Ukrainians at all, and destroy the Russian grouping of troops, after which the crisis in Russia will begin. He says that he really does not want such a development of the situation. Therefore, I say again that today is our last chance

Russia could solve that problem.Just order their troops to come back home in their own country instead of attacking other people's country and there will be peace today, not a single Russian or Ukrainian will be harmed anymore.

Poland will send 30 T72M1 and 30 PT91 with that 14 Leopards

Poland has been absolutely fantastic in terms of how much armor they've been willing to give Ukraine in response to the Russian invasion!

Once they've given all they feel they can, I suspect they'll join the Czech Republic in helping modernize / repair hundreds of T-72 variants from across Europe and North Africa, to send into Ukrainian service. Also, The USA could send them another 100 or Abrams M1A1's (while they wait for their new M1A2's) and ask them to send the rest of their PT-91 Twardy and T-72 tanks in exchange. I suspect that Poland still have 100-200 of those combined variants in their service.

I think the Poles would be comfortable with 220'ish M1A1's Abrams' and 240'ish Leopard 2's in their arsenal, until their M1A2's and K2's start to arrive. Especially given how much NATO presence is also in their country right now.

The current trend is worrying
It seems that Russia is slowly gaining new territories while Ukraine is lagging behind in Kreminna/Svatove axis. I read rumors of Putin putting 20k new soldiers as a defence line over the last week; if so, then Ukraine wont have enough time to take Kreminna before they lose Bakhmut since at that point, Ukrainian army will suffer a lot to retake Bakhmut

The Pentagon announced that the M1 Arbrams tanks to be delivered to Ukraine will be purchased from other countries and not from the US army inventory, and this process will take months.

Also, Zelensky says it will be too late for the Arbrams tanks to be delivered in August.

I guess some of our friends need to have a glass of cold water on top of the Abrams.

The Ukrainian goal is not to win at Bakhmut, rather, it's to force the Russians into a meat grinder situation, where they throw personnel into a wood chipper and lose hundreds of their more capable armored vehicles and expend more ammunitions than they can replace in the process.

While the bulk of Russian invading forces are tied up in that Bakhmut region, Ukraine is buying itself time to prepare its next line of in depth defenses around Chasiv Yar and along the stretches of highways south of Kramatorsk and Sloviansk (Russia's real goal in the region). Simultaneously, Ukraine is buying time for another significant influx of Western equipment to reach the country. Hundreds of pieces of armor and artillery have been announced over the last month, but training takes time, as does the arrival of the equipment in the Ukrainian theatre.

Make no mistake about it. Ukraine will continue to use the same tactics they've been using, successfully, since the outset of the war. They'll defend Bakhmut (like they did Lyman) until their defenses have all but collapsed and Russia has raised the city with artillery (it's the only thing Russia knows how to do successfully). Ukraine will then fall back to their next prepared defensive positions, using an active defense strategy, and create the next meat and metal grinder for the Russians, who will over extend themselves (as they have in the past) and leave themselves hyper vulnerable to counter attack. As they advance, HIMARS and western artillery will continue to wreak havoc on their morale and supply lines.

Meanwhile, this WILL be very costly for Ukraine as well. It will cost thousands of Ukrainian military personnel their lives. Such is the reality of war. But if the goal is to win, this is a necessary reality. There are thousands more Ukrainian troops training across Ukraine and in Europe, to replace the soldiers that Ukraine will lose at the front.

As for Kremmina, Ukraine is making quality advances in the region (although quietly and costly). The assault on that region is also forcing Russia to split their focus and remain on the defensive there, and expending equipment and personnel that they'd otherwise be able to commit to Bakhmut.

At least 5 new armored battalions of Ukrainians are being prepared for war as we speak, and they'll be thrust into the action to give their current fighting battalions a break in combat, so they can relax, refit and reconstitute. They'll feature a mix of Soviet made, Russian made and Western made equipment. They'll be better equipped than any of the brigades / battalions that Ukraine has now. An example of how those brigades might look, the following is a product of what we've seen committed to Ukraine for the upcoming months.

New Battalion #1 (500-1000 personnel)
31x Upgraded T-55 and T-72 MBTs (Slovenia)
90x Bradley M2 IFVs (USA)
50x Stryker APCs (USA)
50x HMMWVs (USA)
18x M109A6 Paladin Howitzers (USA)

New Battalion #2 (500-1000 Personnel)
31x PT-91 Twardy MBTs (Poland)
90x BMP 2 IFVs (Ukraine)
50x Kirpi APCs (Turkey)
50x HMMVs (USA)
18x D-30 Howitzers (Estonia)
12x FH-70 Howitzers (Estonia)

New Battalion #3 (500-1000 Personnel)
31x T-72 MBTs (Poland / Czech Republic)
90x BMP 2 IFVs (Ukraine)
50x MaxxPro APCs (USA)
50x HMMWVs (USA)
18x D-30 Howitzers (Estonia)
12x FH-70 Howitzers (Estonia)

New Battalion #4 (500-1000 Personnel)
44x Leopard 2 MBTs (Europe / Canada)
50x CV90 IFVs (Sweden)
40x Marder IFVs (Germany)
50x Stryker APC's (USA)
50x HMMWVs (USA)
18x AS90 Howitzers (Britain)

New Battalion #5 (500-1000 Personnel)
44x Leopard 2 MBTs (Europe / Canada)
90x Bradley M2 IFVs (USA)
50x Bastion APCs (France)
50x HMMWVs (USA)
19x Caesar Howitzers (France)

Again, these heavy, mechanized, well armed brigades are going to be a problem for the Russian advance. There is no doubt about it. Ukraine has given Russia fits in this war, using mostly obsolete, soviet era weaponry, with some Western infantry weapons and relatively minor artillery support mixed in. It's only going to get tougher for Russia as they chew through some of their best equipment and troops, only for the Ukrainians to get better, more advanced equipment as time goes on.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact than ones used in US Army have uranium armor. While the export ones don't.In that case most of the tanks will come from Egypt or Iraq since no one else has significant fleet of Abrams tanks.SA excluded since they are not in a good foot with the Biden administration.

Egypt has about 1000 units , with local production, so it would be easy for USA to take some
