Slovakia doesn’t border Russia and is a NATO member. They sit confortably far from Russia, so they can afford such treacherous attitude.

Austria, Hungary and Slovakia are Putin’s Trojan horses in the EU. They benefit from the safety of being inside the EU and having civilized neighbors that don’t want to occupy them, while cheering for imperialistic Putin. They have no shame.

So is Romania, Poland, Bulgaria. Why are they war mongering for NATO to confront Russia ?

For the first time since the start of the war, a Ukrainian plane carried out a direct strike on a target on Russian territory - Sky News

It is reported that the target was a command center in the Belgorod region.

“Although damage assessment is still being carried out, this has been confirmed as a direct hit. This is the first ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine delivered by air to a target in Russia,” the publication reports.

It won’t join tomorrow or next year. It takes time for a country to do the necessary reforms in order to join the EU. The same things you say about Ukraine right now have been said in the past about other Eastern European countries, yet they managed to change and join the EU.

Ukraine is in the pipeline for EU expansion. Even Belarus, once it gets rid of Lukashenko and turns democratic, will be a potential candidtae in the longer term.

The EU will first need to absorb the former Yugoslav countries that have not joined yet, and then it can move on to Moldova and Ukraine. The process takes time, needs reforms and modernization of societies, but give it a few decades and it happens. At a historical scale, the timeframe is actually very small.

You would have said the same thing about Romania or Bulgaria in 1995, yet they are full members of the EU, soon in Schengen as well.

Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania were also in the USSR, and they are now in both NATO and the EU. Countries can modernize and change. Former Soviet republics can become democratic, and with time they can reduce corruption to more acceptable levels.

Ukraine is still extremely corrupt and has many things it needs to fix before being able to join the EU, but the war will only accelerate the desire to reform. Former communist countries had a hard time to reform because of the Russian influence and the pro-Russia parts of their societies, but the war in Ukraine will greatly reduce Russian influence and will tilt the balance in favor of pro-Western Ukrainians.

If a d*rty corrupt country would improve vastly and become a decent country then people would be all for it, but that takes decades, the problem is the EU and NATO both stated they want to get Ukraine to join ASAP and the only reason they are seemingly rushing this process is because of Russia, because of Russia being aggressive and anti Ukraine they want to ASAP make Ukraine join NATO and EU if the war ends, and thats just ridicilous to even consider.

It doesn't matter what you write here, you very well have good points with what you are saying, but the problem is alot of people seem to not agree with you in the west and want Ukraine in EU and NATO ASAP.

Wow, that makes me mad.
1. Switzerland is not helping, its BLOCKING help to Ukraine
2. I get it that someone could believe that "negotiations to end the war" with russia is possible but after 2014 even pro russian govenrments learned that "peace time and treaty" like Minsk is only giving them time to prepare to bigger war.

Good thing in all of that is that countries like Swiss and Austria are not in NATO.

Switzerland is smart, too bad most European countries are not.

Poland is one of the worst offenders if you ask me, but thats ok, I get you have beef with Russia and hate Russia so its understandable, emotions over logic and all.

Negotiations can be had and WILL be had, mark my words, hope u don't end up looking like a fool in the end, but all wars end in negotiations at some point, the only difference is how many people die until then.

And your comment about "good thing Switzerland and Austria are not in NATO is completely illogical because it has nothing to do with anything, most people in a vast majority of EU and NATO countries are against the war, against the support and pro negotiations, so its not just "switzerland" and "austria".

Your comment about giving Russia time for a bigger war is completely illogical aswell, what do you base that off? Don't tell me you are one of those people who believe Russia would attack a NATO country, thats beyond ridicilous, I can only hope you are smarter than that.

If you talk about giving time to prepare for a bigger war with Ukraine, then no, obviously in the negotiations there will have to be things that will need to be made so that would be IMPOSSIBLE, or do you think the negotiations would just be stop the war and coincide? Obviously it would have to be very deep and to make sure it would not be possible to attack Ukraine anymore.

Rare footage of the oncoming battle in the village of Sokol, the Russian BTR-82A armored personnel carrier of the Ukrainian M2A2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle of the 47th brigade of the Ukrainian Army, has been published. The first part of the battle was filmed from a Ukrainian drone, the end from a Russian one. The task of the BTR-82 was to enter the village and land troops. It is worth noting that the M2A2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle weighs 27 tons and is equipped with additional armor, and the BTR-82A weighs 14 tons. The M2A2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle was the first to fire and damaged the engine of the BTR-82A. Despite the advantage of the M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle in armoring and firing first, the crew of the BTR-82A entered the battle, and the driver also managed to move the combat vehicle away from the line of fire. The result of the battle, the BTR-82A completed the task by landing 5 people near the house. As reported, the BTR-82A was sent for repairs. The damaged M2A2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle left the village and hit a mine; artillery began firing at the M2A2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle and the crew abandoned it. According to the latest data, two Russian soldiers who fell from an armored personnel carrier were killed.

Footage from the Russian reconnaissance drone ZALA Z-16 and the Ukrainian Air Force Yak-52 aircraft have been published. The video was filmed on the border of Odessa and Nikolaev regions; Yak-52 aircraft are used in Ukraine to search for Russian Orlan-10 drones. When drones are detected, they are fired upon with small arms from the aircraft cockpit.

I don't know for sure but my suspicion is that Ukraine is too corrupt to qualify for EU membership. Because Russia attacked Ukraine, neutral Sweden and Finland felt pressured to join NATO for their own security - not what Russia envisaged. I don't think that the European countries will abandon Ukraine to occupation by Russia. They do not want an aggressive, belligerent, totalitarian Russia on their doorstep.

I think that Russia has to accept that if it cannot defeat Ukraine, Ukraine's only realistic chance to avoid further attack post war is to join NATO.

PS I think it all started going downhill for Russia when Gary's 'Ukrainian cowards' turned out not to be such.

PM of Georgia Kobakhidze after his country successfully prevent another Maidan style chaos.

He didn’t prevent anything. He just iimposed an unpopular law that will further exacerbate the crisis within Georgian society, bringing a Maidan moment closer.

Russia showed that it has zero respect for its neighbors, and the only way to achieve real independence from Russia is thorugh armed struggle, like Ukraine is doing now.

While Georgia is too small and isolated to be able to rebel right now, once Russia loses in Ukraine, the moment will come for Georgia to move away from Russia once and for all.

Soon, Ukraine will be running out of men, and just like that surrender the country.

So yeah, we will have to wait and see where this is going.

You will have to wait a lot for that surrender. Once the Western MIC has ramped up production and Russia exhausts its Soviet weapons stockpiles, the situation at the front will change dramatically. The Saigon moment will happen in Sevastopol when Russian loyalists will try to desperately flee before the Ukrainians take over.

"Some of the Ukrainian F-16 fighter jets will be based at air bases in other countries, as an aviation reserve", - Chief of Aviation of the Ukrainian Air Force Command.
Also, some of the F-16s will be based in training centers of other countries to train Ukrainian pilots."

There is F-16 service center in Poland so it was expected.

Ukraine joining NATO would make sense after the war ends, or as part of a peace deal, because Ukraine will have a lot of NATO equipment and a very experienced army. After investing so much money in boosting the Ukraine military, it would be foolish for NATO not to take them in.

Ukraine in NATO would be very beneficial for other NATO countries as NATO’s border would move further East, and further away from them. The real combat experience of the Ukrainians would also be very good for NATO.

As for the EU, there will be no rushed joining. ASAP means “as soon as possible”, which in Ukraine’s case can be 15 to 25 years away. But of course, Ukraine could start the process of joining the EU, and with it the modernization of its institutions.

My point is, Ukraine wants to be part of the Western world, and it would be foolish to let them be conquered by Russia. They are not ready yet to join the EU, but this doesn’t mean they should be given to Russia. The expansion options of the EU are limited, and Ukraine is probably the biggest country left, since Turkey will probably never join. Europeans should not allow Putin to grab Ukraine by force before they swallow it through peaceful methods.

Putin started the war because he was desperate, as he was losing countries one by one in favor of the EU. Putin was losing the peace, so he resorted to war. The EU needs to teach him a lesson and defeat him in war as well.

France 🇫🇷 quietly delivered more military aid to Ukraine and sold the Ukrainians additional equipment that is to be delivered. The list of recently donated equipment includes:

- 34 VAB armored personnel carriers
- 63 Mark 81 aerial bombs
- AASMs (JDAM equivalent)
- 155mm artillery shells
- 19 Zodiac river boats
- 5 TRM 10,000 military trucks
- AT4 anti-armor rockets
- Small arms ammunition

Note: Ukraine purchased 1 CM200 air defense system that will be delivered from French arms manufacturer Thales.

Meanwhile, Italy 🇮🇹 quietly sent a batch of VCC-2 APCs to Ukraine. The VCC-2 is an upgraded version of thr American made M113 that Ukraine had been using using since early in the war.

I would gladly support China... The Chinese minority in Indonesia have been persecuted and discriminated there for a very long time. Plus the South CHINA see is 100% Chinese- even the name suggests it. Also the Chinese must destroy democracy in Indonesia because democracy is bad, you know. All it brings is LGBT, women rights and other such stuff that lead to moral degradation.
you stupid idiot, riot its always became our histories because of huge number of ethnicities, many ethnic already become victims of persecution not only chinnese. if you say soo.. then why chinnese is one of most fast growing number in indonesian population, why chinnese is the most prosperous ethnic in indonesia if they persecuted this long

Biden and Macron have agreed in principle on the American plan to provide Ukraine 🇺🇦 with a $50 Billion loan, which would be paid back over 15-20 years using the profits generated by the Russian funds that are frozen in Western banks ($300 Billion usd worth). Under the plan, Russia's assets would be unfrozen and returned to Russia, 15-20 years from now, when the loan to Ukraine is paid off... With the French and Americans on board, they now have to continue to rally the remainder of Europe's key players to accept the plan.

What could Ukraine do with $50 Billion usd? Here is an example...

$20 Billion usd could be used to cover the economic shortfalls Ukraine is experiencing as cost of fighting the war for a full year. At $1.66 Billion usd per month, that would account for roughly 50% ($3.5 billion usd per month) of the monthly macro financial funding Ukraine requires to from its allies, to keep keep its economy stable and inflation in check.

$10 Billion usd could be used to pay the salaries of their larger than normal military and civilians supporting the military. At $833 million usd per month, $10 Billion usd could pay the average salary of 1,000,000 Ukrainian soldiers and public servants for 2 full years.

Finally, $20 Billion usd could be spent on the purchase of weapons from Western Allies, in support of the war effort. What does $20 Billion usd buy you on the international weapons market?

- 220 CAEASAR 155mm howitzers
Cost: $1 Billion usd

- 220 Archer 155mm howitzers
Cost: $1 Billion usd

- 150 M109A6 155mm howitzers
Cost: $1 Billion usd

- 200 M777 155mm howitzers
Cost: $1 Billion usd

- 330 Bradley M2-ODS IFVs (used)
-Cost: $1 Billion usd

- 120 CV9040 IFVs
Cost: $1 Billion usd

- 330 KTO Rosomak IFVs
Cost: $1 Billion usd

- 85 Leopard 2A6 MBTs
Cost: $1 Billion usd

- 160 M1A1 Abrams MBTs (used)
Cost: $1 Billion usd

- 200 Stryker APCs
Cost: $1 Billion usd

- 2 PAC 3 Patriot Missile Batteries
Cost: $2 Billion usd

- 250 Patriot PAC 3 MSE Missiles
Cost: $1 Billion usd

- 1 million 155mm artillery shells
Cost: $4 Billion usd

- 500 ATACMS Ballistic missiles
Cost: $500 Million usd

- 2,500 GMLRS missiles
Cost: $500 Million usd

- 325 JASSM cruise missiles
Cost: $500 Million usd

- 200 Stormshadow cruise missiles
Cost: $500 Million

- 5,000 Javelin anti-armor missiles
Cost: $400 Million

- 5,000 TOW anti-armor missiles
Cost: $400 Million usd

- 1,000 Stinger missiles
Cost: $200 Million usd

Ukraine could completely rebuild its Infantry Fighting Vehicle and Artillery corps with this money, as well as replenishing their Western made Main Battle Tanks. They could add 2 new Patriot Batteries, hundreds of PAC 3 MSE air defense missiles, as well as hundreds of ballistic strike missiles and thousands of GMLRS for their HIMARS. Finally, they could order more than 500 cruise missiles and thousands of the very best short range anti-armor and air defense missiles.

Just make sure Ukraine has the necessary manpower. But even then, morale dropped faster than the availability of men.

Oh I hear that the Zionists Ukrainians did an ambush against the Anti Zionists Russians in Syria.
How remarkable.
Isn't it interesting that Ukrainians didn't kill any Muslims since the Bosnian war ( even then the so called volunteers) yet they ara boogie man.
I think Russians parsipated in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of The Muslims.
Mr Gary am I getting it wrong here or you see the bigger picture.
Even in Sudan, Ukrainians helped the the Zionists government against anti racist Janjaweeds.
No , Ruskies are changing the camp, I guess, all of the sudden the government in Khartum had a catarza.

Janjaweeds are killing Muslim Africans in Sudan.

They are a brutal militia group who kill anybody that gets in their way.
