Everything our Swiss colleague writes about Russia's unprovoked aggression against Ukraine is incomprehensible to me. Granted, he lives in a country very far from Russia, but he could at least squeeze out a few words for the sake of European solidarity

By the way, your point of view is even more unacceptable to me. Did you see Putin's ultimatum from November 2021, in which the Kremlin directly demands NATO "withdraw its troops and return to the 1997 borders"? Have you heard of this? All of Eastern Europe, including your Croatia, must, at Putin's demand, return to Russia's sphere of influence. And you, as I see it, are completely unconcerned. Isn't Croatian independence important to you? Or do you, like our Swiss friend, believe that the most important thing is the economy and, therefore, a comfortable life for Europeans?
You know, before the war in Ukraine, I followed, among other things, a Croatian military publication (I can't remember the name) for several years. Their expert analysis was top-notch when discussing other regions, compared to the sleepy European experts. But when Russia's aggression in Ukraine began, these well-informed, sensitive, and intelligent experts seemed to be replaced overnight and began writing nonsense, justifying Russian aggression in every article, denigrating and blaming Ukrainians, as if it weren't Russians killing people near Kyiv, but evil Ukrainians who attacked Moscow.
After a few weeks, I stopped reading them.
If you're a pro-Russian, I have nothing against that, but I will oppose anyone who fails to distinguish between aggressor and victim or who supports the Russian point of view.
