Putin proposed that Ukraine should be disarmed as part of a peace agreement. That is not going to work for European fighter OEM's. SAAB and Dassault will possibly have contracts with Ukraine to supply 250+ fighters before peace is agreed.

Does Putin need to start becoming realistic? There is no chance that Ukraine will agree to his maximalist demands. Nor does it seem probable that the European countries will pressure Ukraine to accept them.

Whatever, as time goes by Russia's position becomes weaker and weaker and its negotiating position becomes weaker and weaker. Is Putin going to run Russia into the ground before he agrees to negotiate? Sounds like a very bad idea from the point of view of Russia's future welfare.

Footage shows strikes by Russian "Geran-4" jet-powered kamikaze drones against three Ukrainian dry-cargo ships moored at the Nika-Tera port near Mykolaiv. Strikes were also carried out against a Ukrainian container ship and a dry-cargo ship near Snake Island. A container ship carrying military cargo, located at the port of Chornomorsk in the Odesa region, was also attacked. On the night of July 19, the Russian army launched a massive missile strike on Kyiv. The attack involved 25 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, S-400 air defense missiles, 10 Zircon missiles, 3 Oniks missiles, and Kh-59/69 missiles. the "Kyiv Innovation Terminal" sorting center operated by Nova Poshta, which was used for the delivery and storage of dual-use goods, including components for UAVs, robotic systems, and electronic warfare (EW) equipment.
In the Kyiv region, according to the Russian side, a strike hit the Tarasovka logistics center (Antel Properties), a facility involved in the receipt, storage, assembly, and distribution of components for long-range drones. In addition, strikes hit fuel and lubricant storage tanks at the Yuzhny port in the Odesa region, which, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, were intended to supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ukrainian media have released footage showing the first attempt by a Ukrainian drone to strike the warehouses of the Russian online marketplace OZON in Zelenodolsk. Ukrainian drones had previously attacked warehouses belonging to the company Wildberries as well. It remains unclear why Ukrainian drones are targeting these facilities; OZON and Wildberries are e-commerce companies. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the strikes on Wildberries were a response to the company supplying the Russian army. It is worth noting, however, that there is currently no evidence of such supplies being provided to the troops. According to media reports, these attacks are being carried out either due to Ukraine's lack of success on the battlefield or as an attempt to inflict economic damage.

July 30, 2026 (by Lieven Dewitte) - Ukraine’s Air Force has confirmed the loss of an F-16 during a combat mission on 29 July 2026, after an in-flight emergency forced the pilot to eject around 18:45h. The aircraft was tasked with intercepting Russian aerial targets when the malfunction occurred, but the pilot was safely recovered and is currently under medical observation with no life-threatening injuries.

Whatever, whether Russia needs saving or just needs to overcome some temporary problems, the intention appears to be to continue with the war. I hope that is what Russia does. 'Victory' is a long way away and there is a good probability that Russia will bankrupt itself before it can reach 'victory'. 1.They are making their way to get 24/7 coverage with rassvet meaning their troops will know, their artillery soldiers will know, their airforce will know, their navy will know, their UAV operators will know where and when ukrainian troops are at. They will operate like a hivemind like if one UAV flies somewhere and spots some ukrainian troops or air defense all of that information will be known digitally to all their forces in choosing how they will eliminate the threat.

2. to add to that Russia wants to continue increasing their UAV operator size for their military. This will further amplify digital coverage everywhere across Ukraine giving Ukraine less and less options to hide their military, military stockpiles of missiles or even UAVs.

3. The Arena-M has proven some effectiveness by dealing with 15-20 FPV UAVs giving longer life to armored vehicles like tanks. This technology can improve like better millimeter wave radar technology, longer projectile distance or more projectile capacity with the ability to reload. This would cost Ukraine to use more and more FPV UAVs stockpiles.

4. Russia has consistently proven they are good at heavy lift UAV technology. They are now beginning testing of producing UAVs that can carry 300kg of weight. If you have all seen countless footage from both sides dropping grenades on soldiers, now try to visually imagine one side dropping 250 kg bombs instead of grenades at long distances instead........Missiles need sensors and fuel to carry heavy explosives, dropping a heavy bomb with uav is just a cheaper option.patriots or any air defense are better at shooting down aircrafts then missiles and aircrafts still need a good amount of fuel to drop heavy bomb but dropping a heavy bomb with UAV is just a cheaper option. And uavs can fly at lower altitudes with less detection from SAMs.

Putin has consistently talked about giving parts of ukraine to poland, hungary and romania. depending how small ukraine becomes after the war Russia will have like millions of veterans that have fought a country supplied with intel/equipment from 40 + countries with alot of equipment. They can turn the entire african continent and middle east into their own Rhodesia if they want to. Then they will watch a less white population/ poorer western Europe disintegrate itself before they cast their control over them. Unless anyone has any other ideas to get out of this bad ending?

A Russian counter-UAV battalion operating the "Lis" interceptor drone intercepted a rare Portuguese-made Tekever AR3 drone used by Ukraine. The Tekever AR3 reconnaissance UAV weighs 25 kg and has a payload capacity of 4 kg. It has a top speed of 90 km/h, a flight range of up to 1,000 km, and an operational communication range of up to 100 km. The Tekever AR3 was not shot down immediately; it had been circling at an altitude of approximately 2.5 kilometers. The interception took half an hour, and the wreckage is shown at the end of the video.

Not too good for the banks, I think because

- some Wildberries traders will have borrowed from banks to set up and stock their business and will have gone bust
- I believe Wildberries borrowed from banks to set up its business and may not be be able to both service its loans and rebuild warehouses destroyed if its buildings insurance did not cover acts of war

so I guess the banks will have to write off a lot of loans to traders who were wiped out by losing uninsured stock and may need to allow Wilberries to fall into arrears on servicing its bank loans
