Footage shows a heavy Ukrainian drone being hit by a Russian Igla-V missile fired from a Ka-52 "Alligator" helicopter. The video was filmed by the pilots; the location has not been disclosed. The Igla-V missile is based on the 9M39 surface-to-air missile from the 9K38 "Igla" man-portable air-defense system (MANPADS).

The Russian army launched missile strikes against the Ukrainian Lviv Aviation Repair Plant (LDARZ), which manufactures electronics for "Flamingo" missiles. A strike was also carried out against the Ukrainian LORTA plant, which produces electronics for "Neptune" missiles. According to local media reports—shown at the end of the video—one Russian Kh-101 cruise missile veered off course and landed in Poland's Lublin Voivodeship.

Ukrainian media have released footage showing the first attempt by a Ukrainian drone to strike the warehouses of the Russian online marketplace OZON in Zelenodolsk. Ukrainian drones had previously attacked warehouses belonging to the company Wildberries as well. It remains unclear why Ukrainian drones are targeting these facilities; OZON and Wildberries are e-commerce companies. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the strikes on Wildberries were a response to the company supplying the Russian army. It is worth noting, however, that there is currently no evidence of such supplies being provided to the troops. According to media reports, these attacks are being carried out either due to Ukraine's lack of success on the battlefield or as an attempt to inflict economic damage.

Footage shows a Russian "Geran" drone striking a "Nova Poshta" terminal in the suburbs of Dnepropetrovsk. It is worth noting that "Nova Poshta" has been involved in the logistics of military cargo since 2022. The video shows "Nova Poshta" trucks—previously observed carrying military equipment—at the site. The drone strike ignited a fire at the terminal.

The Russians apparently shot down one F-16 yesterday on the Ukrainian front line. Their Telegram announcement mentions an interception mission targeting enemy air targets. The Russians may have taken revenge for the downing of their Su-35 fighter jet.
July 30, 2026 (by Lieven Dewitte) - Ukraine’s Air Force has confirmed the loss of an F-16 during a combat mission on 29 July 2026, after an in-flight emergency forced the pilot to eject around 18:45h. The aircraft was tasked with intercepting Russian aerial targets when the malfunction occurred, but the pilot was safely recovered and is currently under medical observation with no life-threatening injuries.

Medvedev:

'There is only one way to save our country. Through victory in the special military operation.'

3m20s into video

Save Russia? According to Putin, all is well - albeit with some temporary problems.

Whatever, whether Russia needs saving or just needs to overcome some temporary problems, the intention appears to be to continue with the war. I hope that is what Russia does. 'Victory' is a long way away and there is a good probability that Russia will bankrupt itself before it can reach 'victory'. A future broken, bankrupt Russia will be less of a threat to other countries.
