Radar ED and ET (REDET) in same USV platform. It will offer gamechanging capabilities when combined with Corvettes and Frigates.

Does those USW have self destctruction abbility ?
If enemy hack it or try to catch it ( like iranians try with US one but dont success cos warship push them away )
Then USW can be blow up itself with c4 or other explozive and software can be deleted just in case explosive dont demage it . ANY INFRO? ?

Also the test bed for compact ESM - EA/ED systems that is going to be used on all FACs (including TTHB) and other shore based systems.

Yes it has it, just like the other USVs (Ulaq etc.)

I personally think that a certain number of armed unmanned watercraft ( AUV ) should be designed and manufactured to be both floating and diving.

The self-defense capability of these unmanned sea vehicles is limited. It can fend off the threat that may come from the surface by diving, and the threat that may come from under the sea by rapidly moving away from the water surface. And decoys.

ARMESLAN ORKUN-2053 Dipping Sonar and ARAS-2023 Diver Detection Sonar will be integrated onto ASELSAN-SEFİNE Shipyard's MIR İDA/SİDA (Port/Shore Protection version) and will be delivered to the TNFC after sea trials. METEKSAN DEFENSE-ARES Shipyard will also integrate into the new version of ULAQ İDA the YAKAMOZ Light, a lightened version of YAKAMOZ Sonar.

The components on both sides of the boat's hull suggest that the outriggers are ready for assembly. So as far as I can tell, MARLIN's first series (15 meter / <50 ft hulls) will have universal design and compatibility from the very beginning, both as monohull and trimaran. I think this is a very important detail. Greatly increases the flexibility of task and use.

The full panel is here; translation is not available

Since it is mentioned in here, we are now free to mention how USV project is running and targeting at the moment. Here, representatives are quite humble about Turkish USV capabilities in the panel and i should point it out again, all contractors have adressed the main problem of machine - human interaction and solved it with unique ways of integration.

In short term, USV project focuses on platforms up to 20 meters in length, with seakeeping and maneauverability is being the primary focus of the designs, with up to 7 days endurance in different scenarios. These platforms are enticed to work with manned ships as extension of them, multiplying and improving their capabilities remarkably. The project initially focuses on 4 fields, as TN has requested;

ASW
ASuW
MCMW
EW - ISR - COMINT
+ An optional capability, one of these will deploy an organic UAV, which means, the UAV will be carried via the USV and be able to dock / charge / supply.

These will be assigned to 3 contractors;

Aselsan - Sefine
Meteksan - Ares
Havelsan - Yonca-Onuk

Each of these teams are assigned a job to demonstrate capabilities of the USV starting from basic autonomy to full autonomy with collision avoidance equipments and algorithms, independent capabilities on search & track, engage - impose EW - listen / record signals. Initially one sample, preliminary design unit will be delivered to Turkish Navy and improved via feedbacks. Advantage of Turkish firms in the business is simply the Navy which provides remarkable feedbacks in exercises and on design process, also adressing their needs clearly to be fulfilled.

On top of his, some USVs will be made, such that, these will be carried on board to extend capabilities of the frigates, corvettes, destroyers, patrol boats, auxillaries, MCMW vessel, some will be able to be deployes from shore - ports.

AAW version is not required by TN at this stage however it is expectable that a unique AAW extension capability (multi-static - bi- static radar, and range extension capability) will be demanded later.

On next stage of the project, which is yet to be planned, M-USV / L-USVs are expected with independent operation capabilities.
