We might have found a good solution here, putting guns on these robo dogs is waste of time but using them to map out tunnels and use it as a kamikaze platform might be the best solution. @Saithan @Tornadoss check this out, kinda scary how they can lay pretty flat and get up immediatly call of duty advanced warfare vibes

Yes, but these robots move slowly and are more like a help to scout units. Considering the tunnels we've seen and where they're able to drive vehicles inside I'd say we need drones or faster moving robots.

I'd say that making the ground so smooth is counter productive to the terrorists, because It's easier to make wheeled drones drive fast and map out the tunnel system easier.

Developing an autonomous system for these robots with simple instructions should be relatively easy, I mean in theory you'd only need to strap a phone with a simcard to these robots and have it attempt to call a number to pin it's locations (or we could try to call the number), so if it succeeds in contacting you could get the coordinates, and when it exits the tunnel and calls again you'd know where it is.

You could put limits on how far it could travel before returning to starting point if necessary as well. But that would not be very smart imo, unless you have manpower enough and plan to blow the entrance up.

Can we get some info about ZMA-X? It looks like the modernized zma with the new canon etc? didn't know It was a UGV

ZMA-X is the second ACV we turned into an UGV, FNSS had a demonstrator a year or two back as well. I hope this is because army is actively asking to see prototypes, ACVs and M113s turned UGVs would be a great option to have in the future.

I like how sleek and simple the design looks.

I hope they will have variants with 40mm for drone defense capability.

A software to follow the unit at marching speed automatic bluetooth/wifi adjacent to control unit which one of the soldiers carry could be used for this part. While it could have a small radar/sensor that rotates to see if any drone approaches.

Me neither, it seems to be for fire support since it has a really small frame but a huge box for ammunition. I think it is narrow so that it can be easily deployed from helicopters and armoured vehicles with the least obstruction to the passengers

And the gatling, this is the first time I've seen a gatling on one of our UGVs. Hell, we barely ever use them on other vehicles either.

So much going on in this. Networked autonomous fires system // AGMOSS

LUMTAS-GM lased to its target by a quadcopter released by a UGV, Pusu autonomously moving to firing position. All controlled by the Kaplan STA. Creates so many possibilities to engage targets from 0-20kms in COIN and peer warfare. Add GM2 and the artillery batteries in the future and that's a continuous arc from 0 to 250kms.

Thanks to the single-center tactical missile management we provided to KMC-U within the scope of AGMOSS, the KARAOK firings carried out from different UAV platforms hit the target with pinpoint accuracy.

We continue to work for integrated control, quick decision-making, and high precision in the operational field.

They turned Pusu unmanned as well? I wasn't expecting that lol

Now, if they could just put Karaok on a drone to be fired my dreams would come true.

Barkan 3 UGV has more than upscaling, they made some big revisions on the sensor and communication side for operator quaility of life

I think these SARBOT have potential for Urban warfare. They should be able to enter buildings. Especially that one version with an LMG. The LMG seems to be belt-fed, placed on top of an ammunition container. They should also make a shotgun version with the same mechanism and incendiary ammo.
or be able to use new aselsan air deffence system with shotgun and lidar

This is excellent, opens up a lot of new possibilities and honestly could be the start of completely new types of ground vehicles. For example. omagine an unmanned Kirpi, but the entire rear end is converted into a VLS packed with Roketsan Eren that locks onto targets designated by a quadcopter....

Now all it needs is a ground vehicle that can carry a quadcopter (as quadcopter range is limited). In fact, kind of unrelated, but I think the solution to a lot of the threats ground vehicles are facing nowadays could be countered with teaming drones that follow the vehicle, and perhaps latch back onto the vehicle to recharge or swap battery. The next step would be cabled drones that have constant power.
