İYİ Party leader opposes Turkish deployment for security of Kabul airport - Türkiye News
İYİ (Good) Party leader Meral Akşener on June 23 objected to a proposal by the Turkish government for the deployment of troops to secure the Kabul airport of Afghanistan following the withdrawal of NATO forces in the war-torn country.
I wonder why they make headlines now. Is it because the proposal has been made, and that's why opposition can reject it. Unfortunately this seems to be bad politics in style with "wait for the government to make a suggestion then reject it".
Ignoring that the government get caught in their own stupidity and can't change course because that would make them look bad to the public and the world. Unfortunately this'll be approved unless MHP mans up and rejects it.
