that is if they could find a team (not individuals) of mechanics from the former Afghan AF, and even then there's very little they can do while there no spares left.
if I remember correctly the first IEAAF only have less than 5 jets available after less than a decade of inheriting communist Afghan air force assets.
The same is true for those M1117 and Humvees, they will (through time) revert to where they started.
This may be a problem
for people from 1st world countries.
Perhaps not for Afghan.
The people that can survive
in extreme condition.
As long as all of the military equipments
can be used,
they use them until kaput.

if we're talking about guns or rifles, yeah there's alternatives.
But not advanced equipment such as airplanes. There will be no local substitute for the spare parts. The more Taliban fly them, the more short lived the IEAAF 2.0 will be.
Are you think IEA really care that
their air force function or not?
They survived without air force before.
Why they need to worry
about the air force?

Yes, air force is a bonus for IEA.
But without air force,
its still not a big issue for them.
They already mastered their ground warfare.
