Calidus can actually help PTDI greatly, they have hundreds of engineers from Embraer and Novaer who moved to the UAE and have experience in developing passenger aircraft.

They can help develop the N219 and C235 further.

They also have a 105mm version of their 8x8

And about Russia, I expect Jokowi gonna talk about the blockade of Black Sea access for Ukraine. Others tried, but what can Indonesia do more.
Hmm.. maybe more about "security guarantees" in case of a personal Putin attendance in Jakarta, (likely not going to happen) and spare/maintenance issues regarding Indonesia's air-force?

Atlantic Council writing suggested US and like minded countries to make its own economic bloc. This economic bloc is meant to lessen the dependency between free market democracies (proposed D-10) and the autocratic states.

The dependency between democracies to Russia–China are just to interwined. 82% of mobile phone imported to US are assembled in China, EU states dependency to Russia energy are the examples. If US sanctioned the China, US economy would also affected because their trade with China is so huge and they need each other, analysts called this situation as ‘Mutual Assured Economic Destruction’.

Atlantic Council suggested to make kind of Democratic economic NATO called D–TEP to deal with this. This thing would make countries to be more reliant to each other economically instead to China and Russia. ‘Ally Shoring’ which means make companies to divest from China–Russia and move their investments to D-TEP countries or which consider as friends also encouraged or even codified.

They also suggested to make kind of like NATO Article 5 that if member countries are economically coerced, the whole bloc would doing measures against the coercer by using sanctions or other measures.
Whatever, it is basically just another try by the USA to undermine the EU - since that bloc is not in favor with the USA's political and economic approach/goals.

On the other hand IMO, the more bloc's, alliances there are - the easier for e.g. China and Russia to handle their own interests.

Bruh we know that Ukraine's assets other than their Ground Army equipment aren't that numerous. Their Naval, Air and Air Defense armaments aren't that impressive in both quality and quantity. Basically similar to Indonesia in many ways. But with only these stuff, using like what, MANPADS? they can still fight back against Russian advance and there is much footage of them doing it. They pulled it off without even using a fancy long-range Air Defense and while donated heavy artillery hasn't arrived yet.

So I think the assessment that current Indonesian assets are useless might not be the case using Ukraine as an example. It can still deal damage as much as Ukraine does, but obviously, we should be able to acquire much more than we currently have.

Not saying we should neglect further development, but when people here say that in a hypothetical invasion we "have no chance", or that the enemy "is much better", or it will be auto-lose, that might not be the case! that we have better chance than we thought!

It was a think tank that proposed that, not US government. And also EU is much more than economic partnership, it is more like country that has laws applied to member states, free movement as in the one big country (Schengen) and common monetary policy.

yes, and think tanks in general are financed and taken in as advisory institutions by governments.
So whatever idea a think tank comes up with - more or less indicates the sponsor or government of interest.
Which in this case is the USA, that (since Dumb Trump) is desperately trying to take advantage of UK's Brexit to form a counter alliance to the EU.

It does not exclude the possibility that the UK won't be involved in this matter - actually that's highly likely.

If you really know me, I’m not backing any idea brought by Republican or other anti-EU parties of Europe, and for sure what you brought there if that just about US effort undermine EU is not the country’s interest but partisan interest. What you expect from paleo people of Republican and AfD that easily moved by only using cheap nationalistic rhetorics?

i agree that partisan interests do not necessarily match those of a government - but in this case.....well :)

Kalau dipikir, jangan2 pemerintah tukar tambah dgn UAE?

Welp I would rather hear about free passage of Indonesian import/export goods, there are things that we need related to stabilitas pangan from them. 😁

Ini diplomasi 08 boleh juga untuk urusan defense arrangement/agreemant sama luar (y)

Some people: HUH!? Less coal you said!?
Waduh berat nih,
Arsjad Rasjid of KADIN was talked about net zero emissions rather than zero emissions about Indonesia. And that would be reached in 2050 he said lol. He owns coal mining company btw, and crazily heavy friends of big fishes.

Don’t worry, climate change is already considered as threat. Expect heavier measures taken by US and others that has influence to forced or incentivize other countries to do measures against it.

Edit: 2060 not 2050. I’m old or even already died that year lol

Trump's "clean coal" vibe.

Tapi omong-omong, meskipun benar bahwa energi nuklir untuk PLTN adalah opsi terbaik dalam hal "green energy", tapi sepertinya Jokowi gak "big on nuclear":

If hydro, geothermal and solar panels can fulfill the energy demand then that’s alright without nuclear. Personally, I’m not that much digging about energy, so my knowledge about that top three said by Jokowi enough to power Indonesia or not is not existence lol. If not, yea i think nuclear is the cleanest alternative out there now. It is basically just boiling the water to rotate turbine of the generator with atom yang meluruh, rather than burning coals.

Or we can try to explore ways to tap into other energy sources like this:
During 10 minutes of sexual intercourse, a couple generates energy to run all the household appliances, including the lights, refrigerator, stereo and the bedroom air conditioner.
Also:
During a sexually active lifetime of 50 years, a couple would release enough energy to equal the energy in 1 ton of TNT.

Volunteers needed! 🤣
