there is many unpleasant thing in twitter, especially those local SJW in which some (or most actually ? ) has affiliated view with the leftist idea. Anti military establishment, anti government policy in which involved economy and investment issue, anti conservative value on how traditional family should be, hardcore enviromentalist and so on
They are engaging people from socialist community in European or East Asian, in which already very developed and trying to push their idea to Indonesia, in which clearly still at developing stage and need more conservative policy in social development, more robust and open investment in economy policy and should be not shackled herself into Environmentalist idea unless it was necessary to take Indonesian products be more competitive.
What I don’t like from the left of political spectrum is just about their (fully) statist economic policies that in order there is no capitalist, all means of productions or all of the companies under the government.
If there are parties with “socialist” word on their name, but economically they are not that fully statist as what usually called as communists or marxist-leninists or whatever that refers to like Mao or Stalin economic policies, I’m still okay with that. Right now many political parties with socialist word in it are “social democrat” rather than fully top-down economic policies like Mao or Stalin.
Maybe concern of many people is more on progressive social policies like LGBTQ+ etc, not economic policies. Understandable, because religion or belief, traditional values is important for many people.
Yes, if we see history, those who in the side for sexual and gender minorities rights was Yippies and part of the
New Left during the “civil rights movement”, but is that mean if something be on the front together then they are one and always be like that? Then I’m gonna say that many those against LGBTQ+ are with Putin then. This very issue of LGBT is not exclusive for one, broad political spectrum for it, even conservative parties in Europe (not the far-right) or Israel like Likud (not included with their coalition now) are for it now.
The problem in this world now is not about cultural things. It is open system of democracy vs closed system called authoritarianism, that China and Russia want the world to be for themselves. I’m for sure be killed if they on the top. Babat semua dibawah yang gak disuka apa ancaman untuk kekuasaan autocrat nya.
