Brahmos is one of the few things India has developed some surplus production capacity to begin with to export and help with ToT etc this decade and next.

Hopefully at some point Indonesia makes it way into MTCR and longer range comes onto table.

Trailer film Belanda “Invasion”. Di film ini, Curaçao, bagian dari Belanda yang sebelumnya salah satu daerah di Netherlands Antilles (Netherland West Indies) diserang “Veragua” yang warna benderanya hampir sama kayak Venezuela.

Salah satu calon Ketua Partai Liberal Kanada, yang mana kalo terpilih langsung jadi PM Kanada karena Partai Liberal punya kursi paling banyak di Parlemen, Mark Carney bilang kalo ngurangi ekspor listrik dari Ontario dan Quebec (Provinsi Kanada berbahasa Perancis) ke wilayah AS, yang termasuk New York, bisa jadi leverage Kanada untuk merespon kenaikan tarif atas impor dari Kanada di AS.

Pembatasan ekspor energi ke AS jadi salah satu senjata Kanada ngelawan AS. Pembatasan ekspor energi (migas dan uranium) dari Alberta dan Saskatchewan yang menyebabkan trade deficit AS dengan Kanada juga dimungkinkan. Tapi dari dua pemerintah daerah itu gak setuju, jelas, pasti mereka kena imbas kalo perdagangan berkurang.

Dari kandidat lain, Chrystia Freeland, dia bilang bakal buat pertemuan Kanada, Meksiko, Denmark, Panama sama EU untuk ngerespon kemungkinan langkah Trump. Tapi menurutku, siapapun yang jadi PM, pertemuan (quasi-alliance) ini pasti dilakukan.

Misal AS neken secara ekonomi Denmark untuk ngambil alih Greenland, respon dari quasi-alliance itu bisa macem-macem, ngelarang kapal dari US East Coast lewat Panama Canal yang buat perkapalan ke Far East jadi lebih lama dan jauh, pembatasan ekspor energi Kanada dll. “Economic NATO” ini cukup menarik, siapa sangka kalo ini jadi, musuh pertamanya AS.
