Bro, is there another team whose players host a god damn PODCAST while supposedly getting ready for a WORLD CUP? Very professional isn’t it?

Mofos go there to have a vacation, probably thinking that the opponents will get beaten easily because we were Top 8 in last Euros, play in big teams- only Arda costs more than whole of Australia etc… Majority of players are absolutely unprofessional, especially the “old dogs” who are supposed to be more mature. These mofos act like they already are a big team with great achievements as players etc while they are a laughing stock and an embarrassment to the whole country.

Where is the coach, where is the coaching staff, where is the discipline?

Turkish football is cursed to always be a laughing stock and underachieving. When you mix big money with unprofessionalism and gypsy (show off) mentality- these are the results.

Totally. FIFA slowly changing rules of the game to adjust the flow of the game just to satisfy the American TV commercial requirements for decades.

But the scoreline was 1 - 1 for like 20 minutes in 1st half or so, before German stompfest started.... Curacao equalized very shockingly damn.

That would have been an entirely different ball game if Brazil did same thing in 14....rather than get some dumb consolation goal in dying minutes right at end because Germany were already celebrating and dozing off.

Embarrassing loss for such a good team. Australia meanwhile, played like they wanted to win.

I was at the game bro. It was like murder. Socceroos supporters were celebrating like they won the whole tourney. Turkiye supporters did this absolutely massive march to the stadium - I don’t know if there’s any footage of it - but it broke my heart to see them not get the result whilst the skips played haram ball in our faces - and we knew they would - and our defenders and goalie couldn’t do the basics on 2 out of their 3 chances. Yes Australia deserves plenty of credit for keeping with their style, their physical condition (such units compared to some of our pipsqueaks) and their strategy but, Türkiye’s preparation & effort was limp dicked as they come. Regardless of what they do in the next two games, for me the reality is that I’ve got to eventually head home and face all the pricks that will eagerly be waiting to put the boots in. I fukn hate following sport sometimes.

I have also noticed this weird behaviour when the Turkish national team loses, most of the opposition do seem to celebrate like they won a tournament. Like they just beat one of the worlds best teams.

Its the same shit in the media how despite not being at the world cup for 20 plus years and not really achieving much in football, every tournament they hype us as the dark horses of it.

The one where we lost all 3 games in the group stage the hype in the british media for us was insane. I really don't get it, are they hyping us up so they can shit on us harder when we lose or something?

Australia is a sporting nation. They invest a lot of money and effort into sport. Football was never a strong point though.

For its population Australia punches weight above its weight and it's because there's a huge emphasis on sports here.

Unfortunately despite Türkiye being a huge talent pool for footballer players and the general population being football fanatics, somehow we've completely lost the magic we had in prior decades, despite arguably having the best team yet in terms of individual players.

Mismanagement? Not enough money or effort being invested? I don't know but certainly there's something wrong.

Australia beat Turkiye because its “sporting culture” is superior to Türkiye’s “football culture”.
