Great news. As Algerians, we want a stronger Turkish presence in bringing peace into Libya, and making sure that the UAE and other vulture elements stay away from Libya.

The martyrs will never be forgotten. But the western influence over algeria is still very dominant aswell as North africa in general. Im just making this comment because you saidI'm not here to diminish any country, but Algeria lost 1.5 Million martyrs to free its 2.4 Million square km territory from the French, when France had more than 1 million military force in Algeria to fight the Algerian freedom fighters. Algerians didn't beg France to grant them their independence. There is not one country in the so called Arab world that resembles Algeria in its struggle and sacrifices against Colonialism. Algeria is named the "Mecca" of Revolutions.
Unfortunately, Egypt never had sovereign positions and always changed its principles when it became convenient. In the past It fought Israel and failed, and so now it has become a staunch ally of Israel. In Libya, Egypt doesn't have its own policy, but it is rather executing UAE's and Israel's policies on Libya. Pretty shameful I'd say.Egyptians believed that they stopped the Turks as we did not cross the redline.
I remember when the Turks intervened that the Egyptians were chest thumping about how they are not going to allow the Turks enter Libya. Egyptians had no problem with the UAE sending their soldiers as cannon fodder.
I do believe some Egyptian soldiers got killed in Libya. There were pictures of their coffins being leaked on the internet but covered up as a casualty in the Sinai.
Im wondering how many did get killed as nothing got acknowledged about their presence.
There are interferences and influences all over the planet, but with variation. You claim in your view that Algeria is subject to Western influence, then tell me why Algeria's next door neighbor Morocco has already normalized with Israel, while Algeria hasn't and never will, as long as the Zionist entity refuses to vacate Palestinian land to allow the Palestinians build their rightful state. The Arab regimes who obey the West, have stopped supporting Palestine altogether. The martyrs will never be forgotten. But the western influence over algeria is still very dominant aswell as North africa in general. Im just making this comment because you said
"We believe in National Sovereignty and negotiating with the other (The West) as an Equal. GCC, Egypt, Morocco and Jordan believe in being submissive to the West"
Trust me Algeria aswell as Tunisia find itself in the same box either they like it or not. The western or french influence is still pretty strong in the region. Seems like every muslim country struggles the samee way. Only muslim country that seems free and independent is Turkey under the leadership of Erdogan.
Just kill this asshole already.
Another proof that Haftar, one way or another along with the UAE, managed to devise a plan to rig up the electionsHaftar, militia refuse to subordinate to Libyan government

Putschist Gen. Khalifa Haftar's so-called Libyan National Army (LNA) will not be subordinate to the current Libyan government, the warlord stated Monday.
In a speech marking the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Libyan army, Haftar underlined that his militia "won't be subject to any authority except to an authority that will be directly elected by the people."
Haftar, who is based in the eastern city of Benghazi, added that his militia would withstand any pressure sent in its direction and hinted that it would hinder the city's attempts to work with the current Libyan authorities.
In February, Haftar declared his support for the new transitional government and a “peaceful and democratic alternation of power” in Libya, according to a statement released by his office. He had welcomed the appointment of the new government, hailing its leaders as “national figures.” However, his recent actions contradict his words.
Haftar continues to operate independently from the legitimate government and continues to lead armed militias, calling himself the commander in chief of the Libyan army.
Libya has been in turmoil since 2011 when a NATO-backed uprising toppled longtime dictator Moammar Gadhafi, who was later killed. The country was since split between rival administrations in the east and the west.
Haftar’s 2019 offensive, supported by Egypt, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Russia, collapsed in June 2020 when the Tripoli government, with support from Turkey and Qatar, gained the upper hand. A U.N.-brokered cease-fire was reached in October that stopped hostilities.
Oil-rich Libya is now ruled by a transitional government tasked with preparing the nation for elections in December.

It was a mistake to sign the ceasefire without controlling Sirte
I swear ,even now, the UAE still amazes me by the shit tons of money they have, how cunning and crafty they are, and how stupid and traitorous the Arabs are to each other; like, they will sell their soul for money
Truly mindblowing
The UAE is a threat to the whole region. The Emirati population is less than one million, with no war history and not fit for combat at all, yet UAE ruler MBZ (Mohammad Bin Zayd) has created his army composed of mercenaries from Africa and Latin America who have been creating havoc in committing war crimes in Yemen, Libya and elsewhere. Several European countries are now wanting MBZ as a war criminal This situation has to end.We are underestimating Bedouins.
I always said this never underestimate or belittle your enemies, friends or rivals.

Well UAE lives on a borrowed time though. Oil won't last forever.
With help from the UK and the US, Gulf states have invested tons of money in Sovereign funds. They have very small population and can live from that alone. Our problem is with the UAE in particular. The UAE is a proxy regime acting on behalf of Israel, France, Russia and other powers outside the Muslim world with the intention to destroy strong countries such as Turkey in the region. The UAE has no strength of its own, the pilots it used to bomb Yemen and Libya were Australians and French, yet the sooner the UAE is exposed and weakened, the better off the region will be.You are actually underselling just how completely f***ed the UAE and the Gulf countries in general are when it comes to oil in the next decade. Electric cars are being fast-tracked as a replacement for regular cars all over the world, Europe and the US are already preparing to bring in regulations to ban non-electric cars as soon as 2030, if not earlier. Gulf countries know this and are desperately trying to diversify otherwise their economies in the next 7 years are going to make Turkey look like the British Empire at its peak.
I know this because Azerbaijan is also facing the same issue and has problems with diversifying our economy fast enough. And our economy isn't built around natural resources anywhere near to the extent that Gulf countries' economies are.
"I don't think people will be happy to be governed by tribal chiefs." The populations of the Gulf states see it differently, unfortunately. Saudis and Emiratis see their regimes as the "best" in the world. They don't believe in the democratic systems that countries like Tunisia and Algeria are in the process implementing. Gulf states and doing every thing to sabotage Muslim countries that have democratic institutions and freedom.Yeah, they will feed their population with those funds but owners of those funds will have big leverage over them . They can't spend dozens of billions on weapons and they can't finance overseas armed conflicts in the future. And if welfare goes away I don't think people will be happy to be governed by tribal chiefs.

Very extraordinary development. A Libyan soldier was invited and managed to complete the 47 week Special Forces Specialization Course of the Special Forces Command in Turkey. His awarding and oath can be seen here.
