@Saithan

I don't know man, it seems to me like it should start with low level diplomats and go up to the foreign minister.

Heads of intelligence meeting tells me that this is a defence related meeting. Maybe YPG is being discussed, maybe something else.

And more importantly, I don't think RTE is trying to deport the syrians he's trying to keep them.
Please just write his initials, or your post'll be delete.

It's a very real threat to our nation that the government think of ümmet before national interests. And only to the extent that they can fool the masses do they bother with national interests.

But as long as TSK training level is kept and government influence doesn't reach to Mehmetcik we'll have to wait for the government to change hands.

If the election tresh hold is lowered to 7%, more political parties stand a chance to represent the population in the Parliament.

I've said it before, but I actually have good impression of Hakan Fidan and while he does what he's told I believe that him being involved is better than anyone else from RTE government being involved. Maybe with the exception of Cavusoglu.

@Nein2.0(Nomad) could you please not throw around random lines like that, it's really detriment to any proper sound discussion in a thread. Many fled and not all of them were because of Assad. So there will be many who'll go back, and if the conditions are ripe for return then many would prefer to return.

Only Turkey gives a chance to those so-called "rebels", and it works to wither resistance.

Assad needs only allow people to return and keep the soldiers in check and move them "out-wards". Instead of holding all of Syria in a war grip he needs to create secure zones where people can recreate their livelihood.

Afrin, Idlib etc. are one of his fronts, and so too with YPG. But once heavy fighting stops small skirmishes will remain. The rebels won't be tolerated since they picked up arms once before. So they'll have to spend their life elsewhere as mercenary. But as long as their families can return and live peacefully they'll have to be the sacrifice.

I know all that, input or implying to return refugees back to under asad control should be out of calculations for everybody involved in syria mess, all other options could be discussed and implemented as i am not talking of armed part of conflict, by my opinion you have only to viable options on table, full integration of what remained of syrian teritory under rebels control or bold military operation to expand it enough to receive all refugees and be in certain measure selfsustained entity, all others are dirty political games on the expense of syrians, this is view from possible turkish perspective, syrians role is other topic for disucssion.

Those trains left the station long time ago. However I see a perfect opportunity to supply Bosnia with some devout muslims. I hear you have issues with the amount of Serbs, Croatians in your country. :) :)

Considering how many "workers" they need in these Northern EU countries I can't understand why they're not allowed to move on.

Of course you should only accept people with education, any illiterate send them to an african country to serve as fodder. (Man I'm not really being nice here).

So if every country from Turkey to Scandinavia established vocational schools they could get what they want. Anyone passing tests, exams etc. can get a shot at a life in EU.

that is mistery looking rationaly on it but answer is simple, they do not want more muslims due political reasons and election pools.

here in bosnia we do not need so much advanced educated people, there is plenty of land and properties for agricultural activities for hard working people but EU immigration laws are joke compared to ours, so it is not fast option for anyone altough certain number of immigrants chose to go trough that bureaucracy golgota.

Exactly! You do not need Higher education everywhere. So RTE and AKP building empty Universities everywhere is wasteful. Especially when you consider that the farmers in Turkey are wastly different. We can't even deliver output to match Netherlands (as I recall it) from agriculture.

To rebuild a nation vocational education is the best. Heck it's the best option for any country. Even those who wants a life in EU, Vocational education with work experience is as good as a green card.

yep, craftmenship is on high rise everywhere, for example we have highschools that are specialised for certain vocation and pupils who are taking education for CNC operators, bakers, electricians, butchers are already "bribed" for jobs during their second year of attending school.

You guys should have deported the serbs and croats out of your lands.

Izzebetgovic was not a hardcore nationalist.

Too much of that bending the knee type despite this i have respect for him.

But he was too lenient on serbs and croats. Big mistake.

Exactly, and while some of them are good high end jobs, you need to implement education level on EU level, and Scandinavia is a very good example here. If Syrian refugees and others get an education level comparable with Danish Standard they can get jobs everywhere.

Heck Denmark even hires experienced Filipino Nurses in hospitals because they need them (not mentioning that the healthcare system really needs a makeover). Healthcare workers are needed in aging west.

My wife works in a place where her colleagues are sick almost nonstop because of workload, so yesterday 3 ppl needed to take care of 33 old people, and they're cursing every day.

Give the Syrians vocational education, even establish the schools in Syria to benefit all Syrians. If you can get EU funding for this project even better.

Azerbaijan attempted to genocide Turkish Cypriots and annex the island? Are we talking alternative universes or something here?

Look, I get that Greeks are a pain in the ass in terms of politics but Turkey attacking Greece without a fair pretext like, for example, Greece invading Turkey would be a colossally stupid move and an invitation for Turkey to get b********d three ways from Sunday by America, France, Britain, Russia and like half a dozen other European countries.

Even when we liberated our lands from Armenians we had to take exceptional care not to shoot a single shell or missile into Armenia itself even while they were bombing Ganja from Armenia proper and tried to fire Iskenders into Baku that only failed because Israeli AA intercepted them. And Turkey generally has way less hostile relations with Greece than we have with Armenia.

For every Assholus Papadopoulos, there's a Vag. Might be worth not leaping to "burn it all down" from the get-go as Nein did a few comments ago.

Im pragmatic but seriously at times you gotta be like Atilla.

If not your enemies take you for being weak. This humanism and mevlana's philosophy is counter productive to the Turkic Mind.

We live in a shit neighourhood.

No the problem is that politicians and religious politicians allow religion and philosophy to entangle with national interests. That's why we had a secular military.

That is almost impossible, only true or almost secular country in europe is France, all others overlap mentioned subjects by you into their secular frame, i asume that for Turkey is non realistic to follow France model as it already caused to much divisions within society. If i have to make comparation for Turkey is most logical amd natural to resemble Russian secular model, firmly entagled traditional values with modern outlook.

France is secularism is one of the worst.

If it comes to secularism follow the British, Dutch or the Germans.

Only thing French secularism has done is chop peoples heads off just for having a religious identity.

Look up the french revolution and its genocides. Also how they tried to replace Catholicism with cults like the cult of reason and the cult of the supreme being.

Anybody who opposed robspierre got their heads chopped.

Even today France has this problem they are hostile to any religion. Exhibit one form of religious identity they come down hard on you.

I know, that is why i said it is authentic and consequent form of secularism, people should know what they are rooting for.
Sadly, that form of secularism had hard influence on turkish one in past, hope it will not in future.
