Idlib warning from Naim Babüroğlu: Let's not fall into the trap of the USA

Continuing, "No country in the world wants to be neighbors with small Afghanistan," Babüroğlu said, "There are 30-40 thousand foreign terrorist fighters here. More than 90 percent of them are foreigners. He is not Syrian. He came from various countries. There are ISIS-DEAS, al-Qaeda-derived organizations, HTS, the Organization of the Saviors of Religion, and the Turkistan Islamic Party. All of these are organizations that have been recognized as terrorist organizations by the UN, Turkey, Russia and the USA. These are all foreign terrorist fighters," he said.
Stating that those who martyred Turkish soldiers were Abu Bakr Sıddık's Assistants, Babüroğlu said:
- These radical groups are the cause of our heroic martyrs. Here, he is most likely the Deputy Serriye of Ebubekir Sıddık. They see HTS as moderate. It sees Turkey as a country that cooperates with the Crusaders because it is a NATO member.

Babüroğlu claimed that there are efforts to remove HTS from the list of terrorist organizations by the United States, which Abubekir Sıddık's Deputy Serriye says he sees as moderate. Babüroğlu said the following on this subject:
- There is a statelet in Idlib… They have courts. There are tax offices. There are recruiting offices. The PYD-PKK terrorist organization (also) is an unnamed statelet. The US also wants to continue to support it.
- There was the Turkistan-Islam party in Idlib. These are terrorist organizations. It stands somewhere between al-Qaeda and Daesh. The USA removed them from the terrorist organization list 8 months ago. It sends them to the Afghanistan-China border. Why did he remove it from the terrorist organization list? Because it will openly transfer resources to them from the defense budget.
- The other terrorist organization in Idlib is HTS, which controls most of Idlib, the biggest power that Turkey recognized as a terrorist organization in 2018. It is in the process of removing it from the US terrorist organization list. He will obviously do financial aid. Turkey should see this threat.
'PYD-PKK, SUPPORTED by USA, HAS 60-70 thousand ARMED TERRORISTS'
Stating that the USA supports a PYD-PKK terrorist organization that covers 25 percent of Syria and that they established a statelet of a terrorist organization there, Babüroğlu said, “The PYD-PKK has 60-70 thousand armed terrorists. Do you know what this is? This means 10 times more than the PKK separatist terrorist organization threat. The PKK separatist terrorist organization was 6-7 thousand terrorists annually. The PKK's arm, the PYD, has reached 60-70,000 terrorists," he said.
'COOPERATION WITH RUSSIA AND SYRIA, NOT WITH THE USA'
In this direction, Babüroğlu argued that the solution is not with the USA, which established a 'statelet' for the PKK-PYD and cooperated with radical groups, but with Russia and Syria.
- Turkey has no tolerance for the PYD-PKK terrorist organization. 130 km in Idlib. It should not tolerate radical groups with limited borders either. This is a threat. The US supports it because there is Russia in Syria.
- Just as the USA grew al-Qaeda in Afghanistan in the 1980s to get Russia out of there, and helped the Soviets to withdraw, here too (Idlib) radical groups want Russia to withdraw from there, to cause losses to Russia and to wear out Russia. . It does not only destroy Russia, but also the disintegration of Syria's territorial integrity.
- For the United States, terrorism is a mace of global strategy. He sees it as a wrench. Its cost is low for countries, but it achieves its goal by creating confusion and instability in countries.

- Turkey, despite the USA, should cooperate with Russia and Syria and take important and strategic steps to neutralize these radical groups and the PYD-PKK terrorist organization in Idlib and remove them from being a threat.
- By cooperating with the United States, the threat to Syria only and only Turkey will increase. Turkey's survival problem, the permanence and continuity of the state are in danger. Turkey should cooperate with Russia and Syria to neutralize the radical groups there.
'USA STARTED THE FLOW OF TERRORIST FIGHTERS FROM AFGHANISTAN TO IDLIB'
Babüroğlu warned by citing Pakistan's historical process as an example and warned that 'Turkey should not become Pakistani' and said:

'TURKEY SHOULD NOT FALL INTO THE USA'S TRAP'
- Turkey should perceive Idlib as a strategic threat and as a terrorist organization PYD-PKK. Otherwise, our border provinces turn into transition areas and underground cells of radical groups, as in Pakistan.
- Turkey should see the damage that Pakistan has suffered in the historical process and should not fall into this trap of the USA.
Dr. Naim Babüroğlu underlined that Turkey has three strategic problems and explained them as follows:
1) PYD-PKK terrorist organization in Syria
2) Radical groups in Idlib
3) Immigrants in Turkey
Reiterating his call to move away from the US cooperation against the PYD-PKK terrorist organization and radical groups, Babüroğlu said that the immigrants should also be sent back to their countries and said, “Turkey has to solve these 3 strategic difficulties. In the short term, he has to make a strategic plan. Otherwise, these radical groups do not stand still. 30-40 thousand people are rooted there with their families and children. They are constantly evolving,” he said.
Babüroğlu also stated that the Adana agreement, which was signed with Syria in 1998 and updated in 2010, should be activated.
