TERMA SIGNS 2 NEW NAVAL CONTRACTS IN INDONESIA​

Togther with our partner in Indonesia, we have been awared two important contracts with the Indonesian Navy.​

On August 31st, 2021, we have been awarded a contract to supply a third-party Electronic Support Measures (ESM) systems integrated with our C-Flex Patrol for 6 vessels. We will provide an Electronic Warfare (EW) solution that not only gives the Indonesian Navy the ability to capture, compile and utilize EW data across multiple ships, but also brings advantages in many other areas with the commonality in design and future expansion potential. As part of the overall system design, we are also in close cooperation with a UK EW data management specialist, who will provide a shore station for ESM data processing, storage and dissemination. This combination of system solutions will allow the Indonesian Navy to establish a fully functional ESM database for their fleet.​

On the same day, we were also awarded another contract for the upgrade of existing C-Guard systems with Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) capabilities for the Sigma-Class Corvettes of the Indonesian Navy. In this program, we will in collaboration with a partner provide an upgrade to enhance the existing AAW (Anti-Air Warfare) capable C-Guard system with ASW capabilities. This C-Guard ASW upgrade program is a follow-on from the previous ASW upgrade contract awarded in 2019 for the same class of ships.

Our newly established Service and Operation Office in Surabaya will play a vital part of the project execution team. These two contracts further consolidate our position and relevance in Indonesia and are testament of the crucial role that Terma Indonesia plays in the development of the company in the country.​

Better we buy some hull from ukraine and instal Bakhcha-U turret on it, or some other amphibious vehicle from any other, maybe turk have some.

It's Fincantieri-HDW cooperation, if Fincantieri going alone I'm pretty sure that's not the one they offering us.

Fincantieri's offer somekind of secret minisub to Qatar, kind of "seirama" with that 850 ton, but still It's unproven design.

Ofcourse it would not the 212 direct copy one for some reason. But they have long knowledge to in building midget since long time. But not so succes in market, thats the problem. Many countries don't like midget because of their limited payload capacity, but it doesnt meant is unproven design, midget also have a strong pressure hull, many midget also use as deep or extra deep research submarine

Word unproven its actually use as "journalism" opinion for me, military sometimes utilize unproven tech for secret and then commercialized it

Terma has received a contract to supply the Indonesian Navy (Tentara Nasional Indonesia – Angkatan Laut: TNI-AL) with a third-party electronic support measures (ESM) system.

The ESM system will be supplied with Terma's C-Flex vessel command-and-control system, and these will be incorporated on board six vessels.

It just messed up information about sub deal, will be the new replacement for CBG or else, some part of the information from the night masseur my be right but stil it just raw info, maybe just wait for the canteen guard do their job
