I would make a special bomber with four TFX engines.
Quick in quick out with plenty of payload and range.

In the beginning 2000 there was also a Concep to derive a Bomber Variant from F-22, the FB-22. Another Concept was the Fb-23.

he FB-23 Medium Bomber

This proposal for a FB-23 medium bomber calls for an F-111 sized aircraft with comparable range, high speed, and stealth characteristics. The aircraft should be modelled closely on a greatly upsized version of the YF-23 with an electronic warfare variant, the EB-23, operating in the same role as the EF-111 Raven.

It is important to note that this design must incorporate a separation between the engines all the way to the end of the fuselage to allow for a large weapons bay, fuel, rear facing sensors and decoys. Admittedly some tapering or very slight slimming of the fuselage towards the engines, unlike in the graphic above, will improve aerodynamics.

In terms of sensors the aircraft must have an upgradable IRST system that has forward, rear, and side facing sensor in addition to a standard AESA radar.

Another requirement is that the aircraft's weapons bay be configured so that in addition to bombs the FB-23 will also carry self defence missiles that can be fired using high off-boresight targeting to strike at threats from the rear or any other quarter. Furthermore, the weapons bay will be set up to allow the aircraft to act as tanking platform, for operations near contested airspace, using a buddy-buddy system.

If possible the aircraft should also incorporate design features from the SU-34, which would require side-by-side seating to provide standing and floor space for the crew. Variable cycle engines will be used in later versions of the bomber.

A variant of TFX with two engines can be optimized for bomber tasks however one with four engines will be more capable carrying probably missiles as well for long reach. Looking at American, Russian and Chinese bombers.

A four Engined Bomber will also increase the Cost, Turkey will not need something like an intercontinental Bomber. It will be enough when the Bomber Cover the arabian Sea, Central Asia and Africa till to moroccan atlantic Coast.

Aren't bombers obselete anymore? I mean with the advent of precision targeting what's the use of carpet bombing? We have the technologic maturity to churn out as many drones as we want. We could use them much more effectively than a bomber, imho.

By the way, is there a bomber-drone development program anywhere in the world?

As far I know it's also possible to use the B-21 for unmanned Missions.

You know what this shows how ahead the YF23 was.

A bomber for delivery of precision missiles to long ranges. You never know what is enough and wether you need more. It maybe more suitable to carry missiles halfway before you release them for the rest of the way to fly on their on power. It differs from a drone in its payload capacity and speed and being manned it is more reliable. And once you have the engines why not.

This is not the real piece, folks. They just made a mockup. If it was a real piece then they would have shown everyone that we have produced the greatest piece of MMU.
Yeah its some sort of mockup. But we got a real aluminum milled mini version of it!
