is that power assist assembly?
Looks like yes. Forward assist
That rifle is just an SCAR 20 with some changes for me lol, but that's alright. Move the charging handle forward above the barrel, add forward assist, maybe others but that what can be seen. And just notice, looks like the upper assembly, more specifically the upper receiver, is more like AR than SCAR. The end of upper receiver is not bordering the stock directly, but the stock is attached with lower receiver.

Its ridicculous for me. Especially if the rifle mechanism is SCAR-like. There's no use for forward assit. Even in AR-15 pattern rifle, forward assit have small chance to be use. Since recooking is far more quick wkwk.

Anyway. Its make another question wether The Army didnt want SS3 or just want spen money in R&D stuff wich, less have effect.

Have no idea about it, looks like they just wanna mix the AR and SCAR

Do the Army even used DMR? DMR is kinda new in military for me, looks like they put the DMR same as sniper role rather than its own role idk. The doctrine still not put DMR maybe.

was strolling instagram with random hashtag like #excaliburarmy, and found something interesting, it's looks like some of our personnel from Yonmek has already pay visit to Excalibur Army manufacture in Sternberk, Olomouc, Czech for Pandur II IFV variants with brazilian (actually israeli elbit) made ARES UT30 MK2 Turret evaluation, just a couple of days ago.

probably the one that were mentioned here perhaps.

Yes saw it too. Looks like a pre-shipment inspection. Interesting there is also a video a Pandur II with ARES turret swimming demo with add-on buoyancy kit.

yeah that buoyancy kit is enormous, might aswell act as an additional side armor, and it's looks like our Pandur IFV already fitted in with local CY-16H BMS made by Hariff DTE.

I believe Indonesia uses this system too:

Interesting. The Wikipedia page for the radar said that Indonesia has imported about 100 of it.

I wonder what other defense equipments that we have bought from India in the last decade or so?

Anyway, other than Indonesian interest to BrahMos - which, as far as I know, hasn't really progressed much - do you know any other rumors regarding our interests to Indian defense products?
