You cant be wronger. From TF-2000, over REIS to TF-X to SIPER. None of them are "lets-do-it-today" jobs. All long term.

TF2000 Subsystems?
TFs roots can go back to Cyprus War including missile projects due to issues with supply after embargoes.

Most lacked long term planning especially aircraft projects, subsystems. Many missed opportunities such as MB339 license production with tech transfer in the late 1970s.

Yunus trainer jet project from late 1990s to early 2000.

Hurkus got delayed because lack of experience of engineering team with designing aircraft which could had been solved by smaller projects.

Sadly, I think license production is not commenced.

For Gezgin. AI-305 might had been acquired. Maybe license production but it is unlikely given the timeline of ARAT project. Likely low production for prototypes. At worst delays, testing with different engines.

Akinci. TEI likely will prioritize MS500 alternative. According to Defence Turkey, PD series performs similar to AI-450 in high altitudes. Alternatively, PW PT6s as interim solution for MS500.

MIUS-A, AI-25 could be replaced with commercial business jet engines until alternative turbine engine is developed. Or maybe develop way to modernize existing AI-25 engines for MIUS-A prototypes.

MIUS-B, there is not many alternatives. Western engines can be used for prototypes but not reliable for serial production. National alternative is only choice.

ATAK, 10 ton utility, there is no reliable alternative. Changing engines again to an interim solution, delays.

TRMOTOR APU, should not be an serious issue. Biggest loss will be potential know how, consulting, assitance that could had been gained from Motor Sich. Similar for Antonov.

FED Company. Good actuators are very difficult to develop. This could had been an important source for transferring expertise.

Ongoing conflict is a test for proposed scenarios of TB2 operations against a complex opponent.

Ukrainians would have to excel in using it in a asymmetrical manner. Meaning using makeshift airstrips. and not for armed roles to not risk losing valuable ISR asset.

I think this conflict highlights again importance for also smaller UAVs. Easier to operate under heavy fighting and more difficult to track.

Best strategy for Ukraine would had been to focus on smaller UAVs. Simpler loitering munitions.

Similar situation happened for us, in Syrian operations when Russian denied airspace. ISR could had continued better with smaller UAVs that would not been possible for Russia to stop.

if there were no political consequences, Ukraine would be a perfect testing ground for KARGI

Themselves had capability to build simpler UAVs. They could had developed E/O guided loitering munitions, they had the capability and time.

Again they followed a very questionable arms acquisitions strategy.

Why try to acquire ships before modernizing SAM systems?

They did not even modernize their SHORAD capabilities.

TEI is at horrible state in terms of engineering right now. Don't expect jet engines a couple years more.
I wish we already transferred engineers and some blue prints, data.
In my opinion, we even should have transferred production lines

Would be very wise to hire engineers and give them citizenship with housing. They have experienced senior engineers that should not be undermined.

Turkey is in bad situation right now , no engines most of its projects , i know that turkey started to focus on engine side but it wasnt that heavily invested , thats why we need fo focus on tge situations around us , some people knew that ukraine was going to be invaded by russia , usa wanted russia to inter it , that shows us how important politics and foreseeing scinarios are .
I feel sorry for what we are going through right now , but we should admit it .
Current government should focus more on that , but imagine if turkey is still running by west lovers , maybe we will be the victim right now not ukraine

I think the aura of invincibility around the Turkish UAVs is gone.

People here won't be talking about UAVs shooting down 4th gen fighter jets for a long time.

that would be true if we had footage of downed drones. Russian MoD claims they downed 5 drones but refuses to elaborate further.
the main thing about Turkish drones in Ukraine right now is that we have no footage. At all.
And we probably wont hear anything about the fate of the drones until the conflict is over.

So the "aura of invincibility" might be still there, or not. TB2 is the little Schrodingers drone right now.

even if they are not destroyed yet, they are certainly not doing much

I believe they are destroyed.

The reason why they were so effective against Armenia was that Armenia didn't have an air force.

Might be, might not. we simply Do. Not. Know.

It's true Azerbaijan had the air superiority the whole way. This conflict is another beast. the airspace above Ukraine is still contested. Russian and Ukranian fighter jets are still duking it out over cities, Red Baron style.

Gotta be honest, I started following about this conflict because I was curious(and excited) about what Bayraktar's would entail for Ukraine. But the incoming info from the frontline is very sloppy and inconclusive. Ukranian officials may have simply decided to keep it to themselves in order to dont compromise OPSEC.

I'm going to refrain from even thinking about the TB2's until this conflicts over and hard evidence starts to roll in. I suggest you do the same. Otherwise you'd look quite the fool.

Your brain exists for its predictive capability. Use it.

I was never afraid to make predictions and I am usually right.

For example, around 2015 I said BMC would screw up Altay production and it's exactly what happened.
