As I noted many times. RuAF lacks targeting pods and JDAMs. So they can either strafe in WW2 style with unguided rockets (which is extremely dangerous if enemy has MANPADS) or level towns with dumb bombs (also dangerous if enemy has some simple SAMs).

They have long range cruise missiles. But they are very expensive and not suited for CAS.

we may not know the whole story but no saturation attack no salvo of anti ship missiles but just two neptunes were enough to overwhelm ships deffences and sunk your flag ship in black sea kind of hard to understand and it is just funny. I was hoping that Ukraine will find a way to use neptunes and what an entrance.

mineral U is a mobile ground based search and track radar for neptune with claimed 600 km range in passive mode and according to news with the end of 2021 2 of them were at the final stage of trails.

If Ukraine can, simultaneously, fight the Russians to a stalemate in the Donbas, while pushing them out of Kherson, the Russian offensive is going to be in real trouble. Both sides can expect significant casualties in the coming weeks, but if Ukraine can keep providing fresh bodies for combat and the West can send another $5-$10 billion in supplies over the next 6-8 weeks, a time is going to come when the Russian ground forces have sustained such substantial losses that their military leadership will have to ask itself if it's worth spending 20 years rebuilding, as a price of continuing the assault.

One thing is for certain, whatever the outcome of this conflict, Russia and the Russian people who refuse to rid themselves of their government, must be made to suffer in every way possible moving forward. At least a 20 years suspension of relations between the West and Russia is in order.
