In 1942, Japan lost greatly during battle of Midway and four fleet carriers they had Akagi, Kaga, Hiryu and Soryu along with heavy Cruiser mikuma is lost during the battle, while US lost several warship but not as much as the Japanese

In 1982, Argentina lost their Ara Belgrano, UK lost some Frigates

In 2022, Russian lost their flagship Moskva...

Yes it needs to return to the battlefield. Put it on trucks, humvees, M113. Ukraine could level the firepower with Russia that way.

Consider w.r.t Moskva (esp last point consequence):

- Most powerful warship sunk in action since 1945 in contemporary relative terms and by absolute terms by a long margin.

- Very recently modernized and SLEPed, and was one of Russia’s most functional warships

- Their go-to ship for lots of big tasks in the last six years, including the first Crimea, Syrian and Mediterranean operations.

- It was the most capable AAW combatant that the Black Sea Fleet had by far.

- Their remaining vessels should now be far more vulnerable to missile attack.

Alot of you are seeing Russia army as weak without knowing the kind of war that Russia is facing , thats make some example .
The Canada vs USA war break out and Canada has full support of China, Russia , Iran , Turkey and some tens of others coutries .
USA knowing that Canadians are white people and almost same kin cant just bomb 24/7 civilian areas and kill them all like in Iraq , libya, syria etc but just some airstrike in military area .
So USA sent 150 k soldiers to capture some part of Canada and deatroy Canadians goverment .
So now tell me , USA tanks and armored vihacles will move safe accross Canada streets while China Russia and others supplies it with millions of Anti tank missiles??
Tell me Canada will get all kind of intel about USA Aircrafts , USA desteoyes etc .
So if Canada has intel where the the US warship is and has Anti ship missile cant Canada hit US warship if it fire 5 Anti ship missiles and sent drones upon her ?!
This kind of war that Russia is faces is the wrost war that one country can fight .
There is no big difference between Russian tank or Usa Japan tank . All are made by steel and human tech . If Russian tank can be destroyed thats mean aslo for USA ones .
U got stunned because USA fight with minimal loossers in Iraq and other war but she MMAASSAACCRRE MILLIONS with its Airforce and then enter without resistence . Russia cant masacre his people . perhaps if Ukrainians were muslims will be another story but in this war Russia have Right and NATO should get out from Eastern Europe .

As far as i know Stryker AGS is needs a lot of maintenance to keep functioning due to autoloader system.(Crews always mentioning that the turret cause lot of problems and they work hard to keep the turret operational. They were not very fond of the vehicle) It might not be good for Ukraine. Similar and more reliable systems would be great though.
