Future Indonesian air fleet, i hope
It was Roketsan few months ago.. now SAGE. Both have fine products but those two fellas also work together, whatever has caused Roketsan to cease collaboration will be known by SAGE.Indonesia collaborates with Turkey on UAV-mounted air-to-surface missiles

Isn't Rafale's engines are much more like old GE F404 than newer more powerful GE F414 in KFX ?in fact the Rafale is the closest thing in its thrust range to the KF's
my bad, EJ200 on the EF is actually the closest to the F414 powered KF. But still, its very close when it comes to capability of both.Isn't Rafale's engines are much more like old GE F404 than newer more powerful GE F414 in KFX ?
Yes, but M88s are a bit more compact and lighter as well. In fact, Rafale's effective payload is comparable to the bigger Super Hornet, although that also has to do with Rafale's delta wings.Isn't Rafale's engines are much more like old GE F404 than newer more powerful GE F414 in KFX ?
Like I always say, all these people coming out and interviewing some news don't mean much, as none of them are official KF-X program affiliates. It would be a different story if the program officials hold the same view though, which I very much doubt.Shin said it would not be easy for Indonesia to pull out of the KF-X program as it does not have a 4.5-generation fighter jet with stealth capabilities.
"The Rafale that Indonesia decided to buy recently is not a stealth fighter jet, so the KF-21 is a more attractive option, something the country cannot ignore," he said.
Will President Jokowi's visit settle KF-X payment issue with Indonesia?
Although the domestically developed KF-21 Boramae fighter jet took to the skies for the first time last week, the issue related to Indonesia's payment for the joint fighter jet program is still grounded as Jakarta has yet to keep its word to pay its share of the total cost. However, there is a...m.koreatimes.co.kr
I hope we continue the project but Shin here is simply wrong, both are not VLO fighters, only reduced observability. In fact the Rafale is the closest thing in its thrust range to the KF's.
This variant have air refueling capability, can the previous version be upgraded with it?Poland could possibly get their FA-50 block 20 in 2022.
A mature product that got order everywhere but unfortunately it isn't get much love here.
I'm going to assume that our viper " equivalent" won't be re-engined with F100-PW-229 like the Viper Blk 72. Just like we don't re-engined our 52ID which retain its original series 220E while supposed to be equivalent with Block 52 .LM got some fresh air
Viper's avionics are okay for me.I'm going to assume that our viper " equivalent" won't be re-engined with F100-PW-229 like the Viper Blk 72. Just like we don't re-engined our 52ID which retain its original series 220E while supposed to be equivalent with Block 52 .
i believe that they simply wanted higher power to weight ratio.Yes, but M88s are a bit more compact and lighter as well. In fact, Rafale's effective payload is comparable to the bigger Super Hornet, although that also has to do with Rafale's delta wings.
