Not likely, Our F16 are bought via FMS thus US won't allow it unlike previous small updates. And they can stop selling f16 spare parts and F16V to us. Until, We have no choice or US approves this, Aesa won't be used on our F16s.

Akıncı Aesa tests, would speed up Mius integrations. IMHO, Kızılelma with good Aesa engine and Gökdoğan missile is invaluable to Turkey.
The first paragraph, throws a spanner in the works of what Tusas/Aselsan have been doing all this time with respect to “Özgür” modernisation.
If this were the case, why were they so verbal and loud about this modernisation? Heck! They even used a plane to modernise it to the right specs. And stated very openly that the Block 30 planes will have the first Aesa radars. It is not logical and doesn’t make sense if it were not possible.
Our F16s we’re purchased under the FMS umbrella but produced under BPC program (Building Partner Capacity). It is governed by quite different rules. (please see page 16 of below document). The validity of the untouchability of the planes are probably written in the small print somewhere. But most FMS documents have a validity no longer than 30 years. Plus as Tusas was the manufacturing party, certain titles of ownership may have already been transferred. That is why it was announced that our f16s were to have indigenous Aesa radars.
Do you have concrete evidence to support your claim? Because that is totally against what the whole country was told by the officials to date.

The Bayraktar Kızılelma you see in the picture is single-engined. However, there will also be a twin-engine version of it.

The twin-engine version of it might make other 5th gen fighters(including TFX) obsolete from 2040 onwards, assuming it is fitted with cutting-edge AI that makes the aircraft fully autonomous (no man in the loop for strike decision).

7 new UAVs to join the forces before the end of the year.
3 x Akinci (probably for land and/or air forces)
2 x Aksungur ( for TRnavy)
2 x Anka-S (for TR airforce)

Are the canards really necessary? It disturb the RCS of the plane.
Not really, how they are canted and algorithms make them stealthy, unlike what propaganda spreads (against J-20ofc), modern canards are designed in a way that it doesn't affect RCS much, it will cause some spikes in 90° arc of them, not to be worried actually

Great but the disturbing fact is that none of these are running on local engines yet. Tei was supposed to integrate their pd-170 into both anka and aksungur but according to Ibrahim Sunnetci none of the delivered aircraft is running on pd-170 yet. Also baykar was supposed to use locally made ivchenko engines but instead they are using P&W engines.

I don't get that either. Why does KIZILELMA have to be super maneuverable? It's a low-visible aircraft that supposed to kill the adversary without being detected. Where does maneuverability fits into that picture if the UAV is never meant to go into visual-range. Are canards supposed to be for out-maneuvering missiles or something?

Modern canards have placement according to stealth geometry

Greeks are now flying Rafales which come with canard delta configuration. Maneuverability would matter if Kizilelma is intercepted. Just because she is stealthy, doesn't mean the aircraft is invincible. She needs to defend herself from the manned aircraft our adversaries are operating. Maybe not today, but in the near future AI will improve. And the AI on Kizilelma will be able to engage such aircraft. Boeing's Loyal Wingman, won't be able to do the same. Having canards also does not compromise the aircraft's stealth. They're designed accordingly. Plus it's good deterrence. Imagine a stealthy drone that has the potential to outmaneuver an aircraft that costs more to operate and sustain. It's also worth mentioning that if Kizilelma gets shot down, we would lose nothing but a drone. If it's vice versa, the Greeks would lose a much more expensive machine as well as a human being (possibly). To sum up things, it's good stuff. I was actually so pleased to see the canards on the aircraft when it was first unveiled. And the way the design matured was even more pleasing. We have our own mini J-20 :)

I really wanted to laugh at this post by saying that the guy is on drugs but thinking about it, it can actually be true! All of Chinese drones have been outperformed by its Turkish rivals. In Ethiopia, the govt used Wing long for months yet the Tigrayans still gained territory; however, when TB2 entered the field, the war got finished in 1 month in favour of the govt

I think that the Chinese tried to replicate the TB2 but couldnt replicate its most important part; i-e, the Software. Therefore, knowing that Turkey wants a 4.5 or 5th gen fighter to counter Greece in the short term, they are trying to offer a deal that seems amazing on paper but is actually laced with Poison

The moment China gets its hand on an intact TB2, they will try to reverse engineer the software, incorporate it into its drones and sell it for cheap

My father always said that the Chinese are never the losing side in a trade deal and damn he was bloody right
