It would be good if baykar set up a assembly facility in saudi arabia! it would be a small step but a crucial one. In coming decade saudi has the potential of becoming one of turkey's stratepic partners in geopolitics, economy and defence in a time when us-israel influence in the middle east is fading away. Given the fact that, saudi arabia lack any technological know how in defence and techology sector turkey is the most rational choice for them in these area of strategic cooperation. But of course, it is up to them if they can make the right choice and start seeing turkey as crucial partner rather then an adversary just like qatar did.

It seems that even KSA wants Baykar to open a factory in its territory
Baykar is now very famous that if any nation wanna think about buying drones, their first option isnt China, USA, or Russia but Turkey and Baykar!

Nations are going to Baykar products as if it is some sort of Baklava; the demand is bloody insane😂🤣

I truly hope Baykar refuses this request along with UAE's request as well
Baykar should just increase its construction capacity in Turkey and hire more employees which will reduce the risk of sabotage; although I do know that it will take time to find qualified, patriotic engineers

In fact, we can give the title deed of Baykar, we have Tusaş anyway :ROFLMAO: :p Our economy needs hot money, but it must be good enough money.:sneaky:

We are laughing and having fun with this news, it is good:D

Saudi Arabia has shown numerous times that they are not at cannot be a strategic partner of Turkey. Interests dont align in a lot of topics and there's a reason why Saudi Arabia is generally kept as a consumer of defence products. Its a disposable country to the west and should be treated as such by Turkey too.
We just need their pedro money and willing to import turkish goods and the will not to support our opponents.

Saudi Arabia has not been a reliable partner for Türkiye because Türkiye was not a reliable partner for them either. We didn't have the strength to be relied on. Türkiye was nobody; no military power with only soldiers but not weapons; no economic power with no technology and capital; no power in diplomacy which could not even defend its citizens. Today's Türkiye is a different one; military power is there; diplomacy is there; technology is getting there; economy size is respectable. They can now rely on Turkish military power for protection and Turkish banking system to park their money. We are living in a different world now.

Aksungur will be furnished with Goktug Class air to air missiles too.
As these UAVs are very long endurance class platforms, they would be ideal against other UAVs and rotor bladed air vehicles. So both Akinci and Aksungur having air to air missiles, will greatly decrease the necessity for F16s to take to air each time a UAV threat is registered. This will also eliminate the use and expenditure of Air defence missiles against UAVs.

Since air to air missile technology, quite often stated as the “nirvana” of all missile technologies, those countries that have capability to produce them sell them at exorbitant prices. Saudi Arabia last year, paid 650million dollars for 280 latest spec amraam aim120C missiles. That makes around 2.3 million dollars a missile. (they paid 8.5 million for the 596 LAU128 rails out of this. The rest were for the missiles)
We can expect the cost of our equivalent Gokdogan missiles to be a fraction of this.
As well as huge savings we will have, we will also be in a position to use them more freely at targets as cheap as UAVs. (But it is also important to note that by eliminating a cheap UAV with an expensive missile we are not wasting money. That UAV threat could cost more to us if it were allowed to perform it’s mission.)

What if we add a little booster to bvr a-a missile on subsonic ucavs ? They can eliminate his launch speed gap on range or not ?

They dont need launch him directly from wing they can first drop him after the 1 or 2 second he can open his booster and can reach him aroun mach 0.5-0.9 to 1.5-2.0 . Launch angle can be fix with thrust vectoring nozzle of missiles.

Man Air to air missiles around 150-200 kg there is no need a bigger booster for reach him launch speed from mach 0.5-0.9.

With help of two way datalink on missiles , they are can reach the midcourse until turning fully active guidance with help of akıncı with aesa , peace eagle, land radars or shipborne aesa radars.

Even anka /tb-3, can carry air to air missiles his under the top and aksungur 2-4 , akıncı's 6+ his wings and tops.

This issue will have much more complicated consequences for enemy minds. The enemy viewed unmanned aerial vehicles as an insignificant and negligible threat and no use against any modern army so their presence was viewed only as a limited threat to ground elements. Therefore, they plan the possibility of destroying unmanned aerial vehicles will be focused on as a secondary and simple mission.

Nowadays, Akinci, Aksungur and even smaller platforms are equipped with A2A missiles and used in the same network and the firing of Gokdogan or Akdoğan at an enemy target locked by distant radars such as AEWC or IHA-Radars or own AESA will upset the whole equation in their minds. This will mean that hundreds of drones capable of launching air-to-air missiles, as well as hundreds of manned combat squadrons, will be perceived as a primary threat. The enemy has neither money nor platforms to deal with all these threats.

Let's say that IHA-Radar (200km) locks onto a Rafale 60km away and Gökdogan is fired by a drone flying in that vicinity. The Rafale pilot will now have to make an avoidance maneuvre and use all his concentration on safe his life. Considering that tens/hundreds of platforms like this are patrolling in the air for 24 hours, it is almost impossible for an enemy pilot to perform a mission close to this area. Enemy pilots will either have to clear all the elements which is impossible from many aspect or stay away. In the combination of manned and unmanned systems in this network, the result will be devastating.

Akinci also 36 units per year OR Akinci+MIUS 36 units per year? wording is a bit unclear?
Akıncı is not mentioned in the post but referring to its size category a similar production capacity to that of MIUS is logical.

According to Mr. Ibrahim Sunnetçi, MIUSs equipped with EW self-defense system, TF6000 turbofan engine, AESA radar and BVR missiles will be used to destroy Greek Rafale and F16Vs in the front line. As the second wave, the manned combat fleet will come into play.

+Add all those A-A equipped Akıncı/Aksungurs, Hisars and Sipers, E-7T, Koral, Hava SOJ and, and long range artillery/Cruise and Ballistic Missiles that will destroy their supply lines,

Game over Yunan

Yeah but both Aselsan’s AESA radar and TEI’s TF-6000 engine would likely not be ready when Baykar will mass produced it’s Kizilelma.

I know it's counter-intuitive but I feel like TF-6000 will be ready before AESA radar.
