So why don't non-Salafis who are victims of discrimination blow up random civilians and cut off heads of random innocent civilians all the time?

Why do Salafis kill and behead and bomb others in the Arab world? In Pakistan? In Africa? Are they suffering from discrimination too?
Indeed extreme islamic view of Saudis is part of the problem but we need to go deeper and find why those young men decided to act in such insane manner. Why alwayd blacks and muslims forced to became criminal we need to think this problem with all its dimensions.

This terrorist attack and every other terrorist attack carried out by Salafis is the sole fault of the backward, intolerant, violent Salafi ideology.

Not Erdogan.
Not Macron.
Not cartoons.
Not colonialism.
Not discrimination.
Not invasions.

And one party - Saudi Arabia - has been pushing Salafism hard with its petrodollars all around the world.

Salafis with their petro dollars have mastered the art of philantrophy. They build mosques and help out the vulnerable people this in turn make them their foot soldiers.

They are not so different from whacky evangelical christians and their missionary efforts.

Our biggest mistake was allowing them both in our countries.

Native christians like eastern christians, catholics and orthodox christians have complained about the whacky evangelical christians and their infiltration. While us Sunnis basically got infiltrated by Salafis/Wahabis.

EDIT : The Orthodox priest has been named as 52 years old Nicolas K. and father of 3. Although the motive has yet to be established, this comes two days after the Nice church attack. A manhunt is underway.

Well, it is the fault of the government of Tunisia for allowing Salafists preachers in the first place. If anything they should run surveillance and arrest any preachers that are radical. There radicals are a small minority of the salafists but that minority is dangerous.

I read about the bravery of one of the victims (she managed to flee but succumbed to injuries) @Vergennes ...may this brave woman rest in peace:

This part:

One of the other victims, mother-of -three Simone Barreto Silva, is said to have ‘died like a warrior’ after fighting off the Nice terrorist and raising the alarm about the attack.

Silva, a 44-year-old Brazil-born samba dancer turned care worker, managed to escape the Notre Dame Basilica despite being stabbed multiple times.

She fled to a nearby restaurant to seek help but died from her injuries.

Her last words to paramedics were: ‘Tell my children that I love them’.

Simone Barreto Silva, a 44-year-old Brazil-born mother of three was one of the victims of an attack on a church in Nice on Thursday. The former samba dancer is pictured here with Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho

Brahim Jelloule, manager of the Unik café opposite the church, told France Television: ‘She crossed the road, covered in blood

‘She was still talking, she was saying that there was someone inside (the church).

Miss Silva has been named as the third victim of Tunisian militant Brahim Aouissaou, who also killed 54-year-old church worker Vincent Loques and beheaded a 60-year-old woman.

Last night Miss Silva’s family paid tribute to the dancer, saying her bravery had prevented more deaths.

Her sister Solange Barreto told South American newspaper Correio of Bahia: ‘My sister was on her way to work when she passed the church and gave her prayers.

‘She fought against the assassin and even when she was wounded manage to leave the church seeking help and warning everyone what had happened until the police arrived.

‘With her goodness she avoided a tragedy which could have been even bigger.’

Every country is a hypocrite in foreign relations in the end...especially when it has the sizeable weapons industrial capability.

But there are different levels to hypocrisy in general.

For argument sake and going to foreign affairs first, let us say France does not sell any kind of weapon to Saudi Arabia....on account of its actions in Yemen just as one example.

Is the objective to stop say Yemeni civilians from dieing?

If so what stops Saudi Arabia from importing say half-the-quality weapons in double the volume from China (to get the same power level to exert)?

Will that route lead to fewer Yemenis dieing? Every other example is like this one in the end.

France having not sold weapons for it, would still see the same results...that too by not coming in and intervening to stop the Yemenis from dieing....blood is spilled by inaction right?

So should there be neo-con style intervention and govt-overthrowing for any humans right abuse in foreign countries? You see this is a can of worms argument in the end.

But we can look at domestic policy/system for finding the key differences in the root setup.

France actually has due process and a constitution that is implemented well.

Rule of law with respect to ensuring individual citizen rights is sacrosanct.

Now compare this to a country that has provably (satellite intel that any muslim country can request to verify..to show the sizeable facilities that didnt exist just a few years before) imprisoned 1 million muslims (own citizens) and doing whos knows what with them in the end.

How many muslims in the world are calling for boycott of that country with such an evil totalitarian govt? How many are burning effigies of its leader?

How many more times angered should a Muslim be at it in first place? 1 million (action taken upon) compared to 1 Macron (words).

Surely there must be consistency in approach here? Or do you meet some stated hypocrisy with far greater hypocrisy from your own side?

France has due process for rule of law and individual rights enshrined at the individual level.

Will it ever incarcerate the whole community for actions of a few (that PRC has done so using its stabbing incidents it claimed happened to spur it among other things).

Anyone here knows what happens in PRC when you go to one of its court with a copy of PRC constitution in hand and point out the individual rights charter and say where it is being violated? Anyone know what happened to the PRC lawyer group that last studied into it some 15 years back (even before Xi appeared on the scene)?

This is all part of the reason I find this targetting of France here and elsewhere quite unfair and grossly hypocritical than anything people can level towards Macron (and French constitutional basis)
I understand your point, but if you are going to have a moral high ground and not deviate from principles that should be a goal for all nations in the world I don't see how you can start bending these same principles.

So twice the weapons from PRC to achieve the same result in Yemen. How about giving Yemen Nukes. should solve the problem with UAE and KSA interfering, at least.

No one actually gives a shit about Uyghurs but deign to use it for political tool, but should they have had nukes in their hands. Well you know the result, no one would dare do shit. Look at North Korea.

Don't misunderstand I am not saying that's the right thing to do, but when you try to put a justification on selling weapons to countries like KSA and UAE, Iran and put a twist on it saying proper procedures are in place. All I can say is BullS***

There is an interesting documentary on how Mexican law enforcement received some German weapons by misleading, lying and on purpose hiding information regarding who and where the weapons went. (How are German weapons reaching crisis zone)

Why should France be any different ? Iran has been branded the devil and were hit with arms embargo, why are KSA and similar arab nations not despite contributing massively to radicalism ?

Brahim Aouissaoui sold smuggled petrol, smoke weed and drank beer with his friends. His family doesn't believe that he would do such a thing.

"I want to see the video recording before I'll believe it".

The article is for subscribers, but the above is what was available to read for all.

Any new information on the Greek priest incident ?

EDIT: more articles.

Till I see a critical mass of muslim leaders and populations starting boycott moves against China to the commensurate scale given the precedence set with France here ... I am not going to find the issue approach consistent and credible.

Why I bring up the geopolitics side of it is exactly to show the hypocrisy you say....everyone hands are dirty there esp when you ramp up the size and capability of the nation in question (you can reverse all countries situations in the world an basically find same thing happening in that alternate world too).

But when it comes to domestic affairs and hurt sentiments and responses and movements for it.... if France has setting of say 10 units for reference, what would be China's be?

1 million people actually incarcerated (who knows how many are permanently injured or killed)...on nearly the same initial causes (China reported stabbings and "terrorist" attacks by Uighurs a decade ago in some stated higher prevalence)....but large parts of muslim world seems fine taking that on the chin.

Are we to call the uighurs in refuge in Turkey and EU and other places as liars on the issue too?

If there is no appropriate response seen there on that literal genocide from muslim world (since this involves China fully and only...rather than 3rd party or 4th party geopolitic chain murkiness)....it loses immense credibility.

You can't even go to a chinese court with Chinese constitution in hand pointing to the individual rights it guarantees. The court process throws that out summarily first thing.

Chinese (esp those that have fled) even have sad jokes about this.

The last set of PRC lawyers that looked into merely exploring this as a process for courts to have (that majority of world take as guaranteed given thats the whole frigging point of a constitution...to be APPLIED rather than just be a bunch of words to sit in a book to look pretty). ...those lawyers have not been heard from since.

The reason is PRC evil totalitarianism has set in, applying its very constitution to individuals opens huge can of worms that bring criminal cases on pretty much its entire govt in the end.

If a million muslims rights have been infringed upon to this level by such a country...and muslim world is largely silent and has very nominal action at most. Then why would anyone else take their complaint of France or any country (that actually HAS due process and an implemented constitution) seriously?

Are we to call Xi Jinping as Far-right extremist or something like that too using the same terminology found in this thread for Macron...given demonstrable violent forced action on an estimate of 1 million people (Given remote sensing seen from space)

Too many people seem to conflate all these issues....that further adds to credibility loss too.

The problem is that China and Russia are seen as the good guys to due muh western imperialism when Russia and China are just as bad if not much worse than western imperialism.

To be honest I agree China is the worst country that has to be stopped unfortunately when it comes to Uygurs you are going to have some Muslims dismissing it as cia propaganda or fake news.

China is not just oppressing uygurs its oppressing tibetans and mongols even there is no freedom of religion there. Honestly as much as France has flaws its a heaven compared to China.

So sad we have let down our Uygur brothers and sisters.

You are right, human nature is to be hypocritical and states especially, we as people should boycott both countries as much is possible from obvious reasons but leaders have more difficult task, so in that sence it is clear that china is not someone to mess with, so you basically retaliate where you can untill you are strong enough. If indonesia, Pakistan, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt are strong ecpnomies, societies with strong jusice, propserous in sciemce and technology, indipendemt fully i am sure that china, france or any other islamophobic country would ask how many mosques to build in your honour etc.....

Good question.

This crypto-Salafi should be grilled over the source of his Saudi funding and training.

BRENTON Tarrant, who killed 51 people and injured a further 50 in a terror attack in Christchurch, New Zealand, has been sentenced for his crimes.

But who is Tarrant, and where is he now?

Who is Brenton Tarrant?

Brenton Tarrant is a 29-year-old Australian terrorist, who killed 51 people and injured a further 50 at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand.

He has now been sentenced for his atrocious crimes, admitting to the murder of 51 people, attempted murder of another 40 people and one charge of terrorism.

Tarrant targeted Muslim communities, opening fire at Al Noor mosque and Linwood mosque in March 2019.

Tarrant reportedly had been on a seven-year trip around the world before the attack after his dad Rodney Tarrant died of cancer aged 49

These crypto-Salafis flying the Apache helis should be grilled over the source of funding and training obtained from the nearest Saudi embassies, too.

A problem exists in the Muslim world.

That problem is Salafism.

Its Salafism which makes its believers so arrogant and violent and entitled.

Not cartoons. Not racism. Not colonialism.

The solution is to 100% get rid of Salafism by closing down Salafist mosques, associations and banning Salafist preachers. Not banning cartoons or any other thing.

Once this is done Muslim radicalism fall back to pre-2000 levels.
Using the word salafi is wrong in reality they are hanbali who hijacked the word salafi then they hijacking the term Sunni with oils money even though they are minority but they are over presented as the main Sunni force because of the petrodollar while the majority of Sunnis who are hanafi shafai maliki Ashari and sufis are being not presented because they don’t have the petrodollar and the west backing like the wahhabi hanbali movement
