There is one thing we have all overlooked.
Tayfun flew for 458 seconds and hit the surface 561km away. But it actually went up ~50km and down ~50 km as well. That is if the top altitude was 50 km.
That means it flew 561km + ~100km = 661km in 458 seconds. That makes average speed as 4.3 Mach.
That means that this missile was travelling at speeds well in to hypersonic range for a good portion of it’s flight.

Exactly. The point of Typhoon is not just a free falling ballistic missile at maximum range( let it be 600km)

İt can hit the target at 5-6mach speed in 200-300km.
Like ESSM but without guidance:)
Just needs an active radar seeker to hit a ship.

İf you add also Side thrusters you would have SAM:)

Another thing to note, if it can hit ships, it is manueverable to some degree.

And longer range with longer running rocket means it can have pretty high terminal speed.

It can probably be in the terminal phase when Patriot or Aster radars detect it, there won't be much time to react and missile will be pretty fast.

Now imagine this with lots of Kargı and ARM being on air.

Sometimes we exaggerate Greek airforce capabilities, what can they do to this strike?

It isn’t totally rubbish!
1. Almost all missiles are intercept-able.
2. Don’t believe everything Russians claim about Iskander. Yes it is 90cm diameter 4 ton missile. But it’s hypersonic speed hype is a bit far fetched.
3. Barak 8 is a very modern and specially designed missile, with dual pulse motor, as an anti ballistic missile , especially against tactical ballistic missiles with a range of 500km. It has TVC high degree of manoeuvrability at interception stage with the help of an Aesa radar.
4. In Karabakh Iskander missiles Armenia had were export versions. Armenians did not really know fully how to operate them.
5. Ukraine did not have much of an answer to Iskander missiles.
6. In any conflict the trick lies in how well you can suppress and/or take out of equation your enemy’s AD radar systems.
Tayfun will be a formidable missile and very hard to intercept. It will push the Greeks to spend billions on new AD systems.
I’m wondering if Russia really does have an export version. If we could get destroyed junk shipped home we could look into it.

Tayfun Missile @Trmilitary From 2015.

No it's no bora missile or kaplan missile . Bora and Kaplan is in far right vehicle more tight capsules.

I'm curious about the CEP of the Turks' new missile. If it can engage with the target sensitively, this is a big threat to neighboring countries.

Mr.Sunnetci stated that it can possibly be used against sea targets, which indicates it is pretty precise.

Since it is a version that will hit the ship, it should have a CEP value of around 1 meter even for moving targets!

Threat to whom? Well, not for Bulgaria or not for Georgia or not for Israel. It is a threat to Syria, Greece and Iran, which has been persistently bullshit for 10 years.

You Israelis are familiar with bullshits of Syria and Iran. Rest assured, Greece is more ridiculous than they are. Greece both wants the unrighteous and shamelessly plays the role of the victim. One day we will upset them too much, let's see when it will happen.

"Project M" if I remember correctly. It is a 6000-7000kg missile with a diameter of 800-900mm and a warhead of 400-500kg. It can reach over 2000km. It is the last known missile of the Turkish ballistic missile program.
Bro wtf, that's enormous.

but we don't have nukes or WMD, why would need MRBMs? Or do we?

Just want to ask a question though
Are quasi-ballistic missiles better than normal ballistic missiles?

i think they will go for the new SAMP/T equipped with new gen aster block 1 NT and the new GaN based GROUND FIRE aesa FCR. one battery cost around 600 million. if they buy one regiment it will cost around 2.5 billion.
or they can go for german IRIS T SLX in the near future like egypt.

afaik, quasi ballistic missiles can do unexpected changes in route, making them harder to intercept, especially when the interceptor is slower than the missile.

I would say main advantage of Tayfun is not the longer range, but it can be used for closer ranged targets with more speed available in terminal phase (as other users pointed out burning of fuel lasts more than normal ballistic missiles) and gap for manueverability

Maybe warhead technologies evolve as well. With out nuclear , there could be pretty devastating warheads. Additionally, to prepare ourselves for pro-nuclear Türkiye??
Nothing can be alternative to the nuclear weapon.
What nuclear weapon do ?
Well! It mimics the SUN on a very small scale for few seconds.
And even the smallest ones can take out a whole air base just with one strike

TURKEY IS DEFINITELY NEED TO GO 'NUCLEAR' IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

There is no other option for achieving the ultimate deterrence against a vastly conventionally superior superpower without nukes.

The Akbaba anti-radiation missile is very important. To prevent some countries from making new dreams with Aster and Patriot...
what dreams ?
