Is that possible to pay that much for the CATIA?
What countries are in respectively the first and second tier? And what is the distinction between the tiers? I would say Turkey is already 2nd tier and pushing into first tier in the next 5 years.Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) announced October 2022 export data. Here is the Defense and Aerospace Industry 2022 monthly export figures:
$295,376,000 in January 2022,
$325,096,000 in February 2022,
$326,945,000 in March 2022,
$390,559,000 in April 2022,
$330,388,000 in May 2022,
$308,734,000 in June 2022,
$325,743,000 in July 2022,
$333,921,000 in August 2022,
$166,567,000 in September 2022,
$464,527,000 in October 2022,
In the first 10 months of the year, exports totaled 3 billion 267 million 257 thousand dollars. Thus, the Turkish defense and aerospace sector exported 36.4 percent more compared to the first ten months of 2021. The sector, which exported 301 million 391 thousand dollars in October 2021, increased by 54.1 percent on a monthly basis. If the sector can exceed the 2022 monthly export average by 10% in November and December, the target of 4 billion dollars in 2022 will be achieved. As of August 2022, it was announced that the amount of deliveries realized and expected to be realized within the year was 3 billion 992 million dollars.
In 2022, sector is likely to realize an export volume of over 4 billion dollars. The strategic plan had set a target of reaching $10.2 billion in defense and aerospace exports in 2023, thus becoming one of the leading countries in terms of sector sustainability.
The sector is not expected to reach this export level in 2023. Nevertheless, it is estimated that Turkiye will easily surpass the $5 billion mark in 2023 and enter the group of second-tier countries in the broadly defined defense and aerospace sector.
3 billion and 267 million dollars in total export for turkey in the first 10 months of the year. I guess that means many deals have been made behind the curtains, or have I missed a lot of posts made in this thread?
Saudi Arabia must be the old C-130E Hercules .

Actually, you are right that such a precise classification cannot be made. When we add civil aviation to the evaluation, the parameters become quite different. What countries are in respectively the first and second tier? And what is the distinction between the tiers? I think we will need a separate thread for the platforms that our shipbuilding industry is building for the world navies. Because it is getting harder and harder to follow.OFFICIAL Weapons Contract

Then what, every Indonesian defence expert claimed it was Hisar, even MoD says it's Hisar. There is a confusion with Hisar-O/U as it seems. @SavunmaSanayiST.com says they will publish an article to cleanse the mess. And Anil Sahin says it has nothing to do with actual Hisar system.
In my opinion Roketsan only provides Rocket and TVC part of the missile and retia / whomever is the other partner is providing seeker and other command and control stuff, data-link etc. Then what, every Indonesian defence expert claimed it was Hisar, even MoD says it's Hisar.
So essentially Indonesian Hisar. In my opinion Roketsan only provides Rocket and TVC part of the missile and retia / whomever is the other partner is providing seeker and other command and control stuff, data-link etc.
However there is no other partner in the consortium who can provide these. Retia provides the highlighted parts, EA provides the carrier integration and contractor -project management position, Tatra provides the trucks.
Even the missile in image is Hisar-O.

@SavunmaSanayiST.com is saying this:
So Roketsan is developing a whole new missile as the contractor of missile-end of the air defense system. Both missiles are reported to be RF seeker versions.
Yes with their selection of data link and seeker systems, possibly. Still a good thing, the same missile can be equipped by Aselsan seeker, Meteksan data link and can be put in the export market via Turkish battalion etc.So essentially Indonesian Hisar.
I wonder if they didn't like the original Hisar/Siper seriesYes with their selection of data link and seeker systems, possibly. Still a good thing, the same missile can be equipped by Aselsan seeker, Meteksan data link and can be put in the export market via Turkish battalion etc.
Sounds like this missile will be more for taste of export market.
Maybe they demand different specs from the missile. It is told the missiles will be new, thus we have no idea as of now.I wonder if they didn't like the original Hisar/Siper series
