Yeah, the Altay tank factory will be built in Ankara. This time BMC with Tosyalı at the helm will do it for sure.
It is ready and waiting for its platform. What is last state at AKKOR ?
What about Akkor-lite?It is ready and waiting for its platform.
Are you serious about it? This is one of the biggest news for me! As a citizen i have to ask why there's no trace from it then especially in the Syria? It is ready and waiting for its platform.
Because there is no platform to put it on.Are you serious about it? This is one of the biggest news for me! As a citizen i have to ask why there's no trace from it then especially in the Syria?
It is not ready. What about Akkor-lite?
What exactly have they changed?BMC CEO: "The first design of the Altay tanks which were made about 10 years ago, we improved technology in accordance with changing battlefield needs"
All of the electronics, FCS, armor, powerpack (Korean, later Turkish)What exactly have they changed?
Mass production is stated to start in 2025 hoping that there will be no further delay as this is becoming obnoxious now , looks like we are gonna see tf-x fly and even maybe enter service ( very optimistic) and tens of different products finalised before we see these produced . Starting to wonder if it is worthwile to buy spains 2a4's or equivalents from somewhere else to give our operators something semi-modern, not too confident we will see altay anytime soon even if we do with a production rate of 8 a month it will take a long time to reach a sizeable number ... hope im proved wrong though
What does it say?
' New Altay , Very soon'What does it say?
You‘ll need German permission to get Leo2s from other states like Spain. Anyway, if Europeans decide to send Leos into Ukraine there won‘t be much left for sale. All European militaries combined have only 2000-2200 Leo2 variants deployedMass production is stated to start in 2025 hoping that there will be no further delay as this is becoming obnoxious now , looks like we are gonna see tf-x fly and even maybe enter service ( very optimistic) and tens of different products finalised before we see these produced . Hehehe, more of an export market for AltayYou‘ll need German permission to get Leo2s from other states like Spain. Anyway, if Europeans decide to send Leos into Ukraine there won‘t be much left for sale. All European militaries combined have only 2000-2200 Leo2 variants deployed
Who could that be in Europe? Possibly Albania and Bosnia . Spain as an offset for Navantia sales … any other candidates?Hehehe, more of an export market for Altay
Anyone who wants to but can't get their hands on Leo2's. They'll try to go for Abrams 1st, but once they'll find out the production lines are all backed up, it will be all Altay, all the time!Who could that be in Europe? Possibly Albania and Bosnia . Most probably, Korea will dominate that market.Hehehe, more of an export market for Altay
Not with those pricetags. Most probably, Korea will dominate that market.
