ARDA is probably an X-band radar with 1000 maybe 2000 GaN modules. It will probably be mounted on Turk Type FAC.

Very very slim. Just shows how far Aselsan has come. Can't wait for Arda next year and Cafrad in 2026.
Arda will be an interesting one, coming with fixed face version and two different sizes. It will complement CENK.

It provides fire control through tracking and updating the randezvous point for the missile through CMS and illumination radar or data-links.
Also can do splash detection for surface engagements (cannon corrections).
And also can be used for helicopter approaches, horizon scanning, got a stare mod etc.
Unlike X band MFRs, it can not utilize APAR guidance. (Since semi active seekers are X - K bands or data links are usually in X band)

Nothing much known about ARDA, it was labeled as ' X-DAR - X marine search radar' in earlier roadmaps. Neither much is known about CENK-S, there is no official brochure published as of now.

It is being made for TT-FAC, Patrol boats, OPVs, USVs or auxiliary classes. Unsure if latter blocks of OPVs will receive it or MAR-D MKII.

After visiting Teresa Magbanua 97m OPV. I can understand why some more knowledgeable members were saying corvette type OPV of such sizes were overkill for Türkiye’s needs.
PhN uses the big vessels in West Philippine Sea where there are disputes.

But the vessel is also used for supplying the bases in WPS.

We don’t have the same problem, but need to establish firm presence in Adalar denizi and claim on all islets that are ours, be it with smart sonobuoys or other solutions.

so I think TCG needs bigger vessels, a few for showing muscles and for surveillance purpose.

How would our hostile neighbors feel having a snooping Light Corvette sailing around on patrol duty while sensors scan everything on their side.

I think the designs 55-60m would be a good Coast Guard vessels.
