AKP gathered a huge crowd but that doesn't automatically translate to a win. In 2018 AKP gathered an even bigger crowd but lost Istanbul.

I feel like compared to 2018 both parties have smaller rallies. On the elections then they managed to have some really massive crowds with M. Ince probably even managing to organize the bigger ones... Still Erdogan won with a comfortable lead in the end.

These rallies in the end mean nothing and are nothing but a huge waste of money and resources. At least the half of the spent money could have been given to the needy in the areas destroyed by the earthquakes and it would achieve more.
