Bro, I'm sick and tired of some Indonesian folks

No, Singapore is not certainly stronger than Indonesia, and will not certainly win a war against Indonesia.

Why they think Indonesia always have flaws and always weaker, but other countries don't have flaw and always stronger? what a bunch of degenerates.

Personally, I don’t see Golkar as 1 body, but there are factions there. Those who plays in Golkar Institute are people that has more i may say cosmopolitan views side of the party, and those who are in kind of like ‘local’ with more lack understanding of whatever compare with those who are in Golkar Institute like Governor of Lampung for example.

People of Golkar Institute as i ever put the article here, a guy with pro-Ukrainian views in this very ‘you know’ country, Rizal Mallarangeng with his Freedom Institute, and former 3-star airmen with pro US Democratic Party tendencies during the 2020 election, Ginandjar Kartasasmita etc etc. Kind of like Japanese LDP with its factions.

We can potentially vassalize Timor Leste, Myanmar and Kamboja if purely based on 'power' factor as soon as 2050. While Austronesian/ Maritime Southeast Asia has to be definitely inside our sphere of influence starting from the next decade.

We have to do this, otherwise other powers will snatch away any opportunity for us to influence foreign affairs and we will eventually find ourselves under 'diplomatic siege' from every direction or worse surrounded by enemy everywhere.

so .... no Special military operation to myanmar ?

This case occurred in an area controlled by Myanmar rebels. I think the rebels in Myanmar right now need Indonesia to continue to put pressure on the military junta. In ASEAN context, Indonesia has been one of the countries that strongly opposed the Myanmar junta. In this case, MoFA has proven capable of freeing Indonesian citizens, by utilizing the power of diplomacy and existing networks relatively quickly without deploying military force.

I think Retno Marsudi, as a career diplomat, for the last 8 years in general has carried out her mandate very well. Lets say, starting from the task of protecting Indonesian citizens abroad, diplomacy for Indonesia's foreign interests, dispute resolution and negotiations related to territorial boundaries, to initiating a dialogue formula and joint declaration at the 2022 Bali G20 Summit whose atmosphere is full of conflicting interests of superpowers. Retno's formula, also thanks to the work of her entire team, has become a standard for international summits after, or at least became a reference in the declaration of the 2022 APEC Bangkok Summit.

But this cant be used as an excuse to dispel the urge that Indonesia urgently needs to increase military and defense capacity, which so far the current government lacks commitment to, so in the future Indonesian diplomacy can be more 'nutritious' and prevent premature ejaculation.

What values that we would spread? This country was made because Bangsa Indonesia wanted freedom from colonialism. This negara is the country of Bangsa Indonesia, nothing else. Who is Bangsa Indonesia? See Indische Partij and you would see who are Indonesian. Anyone who considered themselves as Indische (people of Indian (Indonesia)), care no about your ethnicity etc etc. Civic nationalism through the roof there. White, Chinese, Indigenous, you consider yourself as Indonesian, you are Indonesian.

This one existed before “exclusive” mempersempit (for some) Pancasila even exist.

Setiabudi’s (E.F.E Douwes Dekker) great uncle was considered influential for making majority of Dutch “non-religious” even lol. European Freemason was really more progressive than US masons see from there.

Indonesian diplomat actually is quite good, and has proven track record. Our specialty is backdoor silent diplomacy. But it is not without flaw as we are sometimes met with some hard stubble. The flaw of their mission profile lately is

1. Indonesian foreign policy has been kidnapped by moral issue in which had little benefit for Indonesian society as a whole (the most notorious is Palestine issue) and given less room for more strategic and tactical maneuver on the table

2. Indonesian diplomacy doesn't have sound backing at home, well i mean real hard power backing policy, Indonesia actually has economy weight in which can be translated into real hard power for negotiation like JICA and Japanese economy Investment, also real military power in which can be used to protect Indonesian interest aboard (like how Turkey using their newfound military prowess to be involved in Libya, Syria and Somalia). More card on the table to be used for negotiation is much more better, case is , i think we would not lose Sipadan and Legitan if only at the time we push for forced military occupation just like how Russian Occupy Crimea or Chinese build outpost base around South China Sea and not trying to resolved them by Internasional court arrangement as long as Indonesia has considerable military might and economy power.

3. Indonesian diplomacy corps has acute lack of intelligent based information resources, in which most of the cases they are involved is based on fire fighting method not in the prevention method. Current OSINT community should be the places our diplomat should dwell and trying to learn as much as possible, but sometimes people can be pedantic and feeling much superior
