We are participating in the Indus Shield-2023 Exercise, hosted by Pakistan, between 6-25 October 2023, at Mushaf Air Base Sargodha/Pakistan, with 5 F-16 aircraft and 60 personnel from our 3rd Main Jet Base Command.

3 F-16 aircraft and 49 personnel belonging to our Air Forces Command, who participated in the NATO Tiger Meet Exercise, completed the exercise successfully. Within the scope of the exercise, a total of 18 sorties were conducted with different types of aircraft belonging to friendly and allied countries. As a result of the competition held among a total of 21 squadrons participating in the exercise, our Air Force came second in the aircraft category with the best paint design and first in the most beautifully designed clothing category.

On our TCG GÖKOVA frigate, pyrotechnic material shooting with machine guns and small arms shooting by SAT and SAS Teams were successfully carried out.

Exercise Erciyes-2023, which aims to carry out combined and joint operations with friendly and allied countries and improve airborne capabilities, continues at our 1st Commando Brigade Command in Kayseri.
The exercise carried out under the command and management of the 4th Corps Command included participation by the armies of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Pakistan, Spain, Italy, Libya and Uzbekistan. The United Kingdom and Bahrain are also present as observers in the exercise.

Members of the press are also following the ongoing Erciyes-2023 Exercise in Kayseri. A night jump with a parachute will be carried out within the scope of Airborne operation, which will be carried out shortly. Our soldiers completed the final preparations and gave a briefing to the 4th Corps Commander, Major General Ahmet KURUMAHMUT, before the jump.

Distinguished Observer Day activities of the Erciyes-2023 Exercise were completed with the participation of Land Forces Commander General Selçuk BAYRAKTAROGLU, 4th Corps Commander Major General Ahmet KURUMAHMUT and other military officials.
"Erciyes-2023 Exercise", which was held at the 1st Commando Brigade Command stationed in Kayseri and started at night, ended with an airborne operation. The exercise held at Martyr Lieutenant Hasan BAK Jumping Field near İncesu district. The exercise organized by the 1st Commando Brigade Command, which has the ability to perform airborne operations among the commando brigades affiliated to the Land Forces Command, carried out this in the Cyprus Peace Operation and also took part in counter-terrorism operations.
Within the scope of the exercise scenario, 180 paratrooper commandos on C-130 and C-160 transport planes, which took off from the 12th Air Transport Main Base Command, landed in the area. Commandos who jumped with parachutes carried out an operation against a representative enemy combat center. A target was shot with UVAV in the area cleared of terrorists. The targets at the dominant point of the region were destroyed with the artillery dropped by helicopter into the enemy area. After the region was taken under control, AFAD and Red Crescent officials were brought to the area by helicopter for humanitarian aid. The exercise ended with a respect jump with the flags of 10 countries.

The process starts on 16th of July 2014 and is taking place in the Official Gazette as Law for Eliminating Terrorism and Support for Social Unity. ( https://www.resmigazete.gov.tr/eskiler/2014/07/20140716-1.htm )
After the terrorist attack in Ceylanpinar, 2015 the end of this process started.
On 22nd of July, around 6:00 in the morning, two of our policemen named Feyyaz Yumusak and Okan Acar were martyred with bullets in their heads by a silenced weapon.
After this event PKK continued their attacks. We had 215 martyrs in 2015.
The Solution Process ended.
PKK used the opportunity of the Solution Process for their interests. They weaponized themselves, planted hundreds of IEDs, dug trenches in all of the districts and provinces under their control.
Green light was given to the Turkish Armed Forces and the General Directorate of Security for joint military operations in Sur, Cizre and Nusaybin.
And the operations commenced...
In December, 2015 the Turkish Armed Forces entered the neighbourhoods in which fighting was going on with 10.000 strong force, tanks and armored vehicles.
Police Special Operations, Air Forces Command, Underwater Defence SAS personnel also participated in support of the joint operations.
The terrorist organization was buried inside the trenches it dug...
739 security forces personnel were martyred
314 civilian citizens lost their lives
Over 4000 security personnel and over 2000 civilian citizens were wounded

Gando Air Base/Canary Islands Exercise Ocean Sky-2023 hosted by Spain; We are participating with 3 F-16C/D aircraft and 54 personnel belonging to the 152nd Jet Fleet of our 10th Tanker Base Command.
Within the scope of National Defence University Naval Petty Officer Vocational School Open Sea Training, a port visit was made to Durres / Albania with TCG İSKENDERUN and TCG OSMANGAZİ between 12-14 October 2023. After the port visit, seafaring training was carried out with the Albanian Naval Forces element PB LISSUS in front of Durres.
