I don't think it's all doom and gloom with these local production agreements. If they produce their own drones, they will probably buy hard-to-produce components from us. Software wise we are still leagues ahead. Actually, having this will free our precious engineers to focus on more critical projects and production of more critical parts. It's a delicate balance but it can be positive in the long run.

I fail to understand Tusas’s strategy to be honest. Usually you provide local production and know how when there is a huge order at stake. But they practically always give it no matter the order.

I am surprised just like you but could it be maybe part of an SE Asia expansion plan? After all Tusas, if my memory serves me well, was hiring Indonesian engineers for their Indonesia office, right?

At this point I just hope Indonesia buy a lot of Turkish MALE UAV and produce them locally with license, just like C212.

Also TR holds license rights for one more hull that can be materialized for any customer.

It is more logical to restore ties with TAI and complete elang hitam under assistance. The project definitely needs some technical input for accelaration.

I hope that we'll use it for Trakya, but if we don't have any plans for that, this might be great way to get some more experience and funds.
