As was the case for the Royal Morrocan Navy’s Mohammed VI FREMM, the former Normandie saw its second row of vertical launch system (SYLVER A70, used to launch MBDA’s naval cruise missiles) and the two SIGEN R-ECM electronic warfare and jammer systems removed because of export limitations for these sensitive equipments.

Like ther Scalp missiles downgraded to 250km  and they pay the full price.

We al ready now how important a EW attack or ECM system is. Syria and Karabagh is an example, when they face power like Turkey they will lose definitly.

donwgraded .
I wouldn't call it downgraded trash, but for its displacement it has rather underwhelming AA load of just 16 SAM. The rest of the weaponry and sensors are very good. I would pick an I-class over this one anytime though.

It is a ADA class a bit more heavy, ther radar is the same Thales radar are they using like we use. But they are buying againg overpriced.

The Bergaminni weighs more than twice as much than an ADA and will weigh twice as much as an I-class, while carrying fewer SAMs and AShMS.

While I think the ADA class with 2400 tons is too heavy for a corvette, the I-class at 3000 tons and 16 VLS (up to 64ESSM) and 16 AShM is excellent for its weight.

It's an original GP Italian version that has been sold to Egypt while it was being built. The Egyptians have bought two of these from Italy. They were originally meant for the Italian navy but the Egyptians wanted them ASAP.

Indeed thats the point, no EW suite or SIGINT suite but pay half billion for one ship  . Look if they had brains they had chosen ADA class with VLS. Pakistans Ada class is much more capable then ther firgatte.

What you just mentioned is one of the reasons why they will be sitting ducks for the Turkish navy, I have no doubt about that.

This one i didn't now it, whats with this brainless purchase? When you buy a equipment you go and demand that they modife for your own navy. So they pruchased a ship special build for the Italian navy. When Turkish Navy purchase something officer do a research and demand modifacation. Like the Mistral, they have it but no EW/ESM and protection.

From 10 months ago, I don't think they had time to buy munitions for KA-52s
