Turkey receives payments from the EU budget as pre-accession support, currently 4.5 billion allocated for the 2014–2020 period (about 740 million Euros per year) and some others.

But that s bad to our mind.

Pro-EU and Pro-Arab Turks fight each other every day.

Turkiye position has always been weaker regardless of Erdogan or not.

EU basically saying give up your interests and Sovreignty to become apart of the EU which means basically giving up Cyprus and the Caucausus which ever places you have interests.

I doubt Turkiye will ever give up Northern Cyprus.

Cyprus easily got into the EU with the most fraudulent bs on the table.

Patriarch of Constantinople has no political jurisdiction.
