Unmanned systems do give a new layer or tool of brinkmanship to governments even when you discount the warfare usage. US shooting down Turkish Anka, Iran capturing and releasing US USVs, Iran shooting down US RQ-4. Responses to all these incidents or even accepting the mission risks and sending them out there in the first place would all be too much more different had the systems been manned.

This is USMC's long range USV, armed with Hero-120 loitering munition (which has a 60 km range with a 4.5 kg warhead, and an overall weight of 18 kg). Their plan is to use these in saturation attacks against enemy ships alongside anti-ship missiles. I think we really need to look into this as well, we already have long range USVs and a heavier loitering munition with the same range that could not only saturate enemy air defence but also do some serious damage if it gets through.

Are you sure you're not misremembering? Because Kuzgun is going to be around a 100 kgs iirc, and that would put the payload at almost 4 tons, without the launcher or anything else. And they are both around 15 meter long, would 40 Kuzguns even fit there? I mean, it would be amazing if it happens, especially its turbojet variant but that sounds implausible.

Those are not kuzgun but sonobuoy launchers.

Sonobuoy launchers are smaller, I literally measured it below the first tweet and officals confirmed that it is a prototype launcher design for KUZGUN KY (It was the subject that led to the big daddy variant of MARLİN when I was talking to them at the booth)

Looks like it can carry a zodiac or a smaller USV. I don’t think they showcased this model before, interesting.

This looks like it was made with bigger payload in mind. Still wouldn't mind lots of Alpagut from this, same weight warhead as Umtas/Hellfire type of anti-armor missiles (maybe even slightly bigger) but 3 times the range and swarm capability.

But the space they left open looks like it would be better used for Atmaca or Çakır, which would compliment our other USVs greatly, if that is the case.

Size perfectly fits for sonobuoy as well and yes sonobuoys are huge and with the discharger the size gets taller. I don't rely on fair personnel's information too, they have given (not just the stand its displayed but even personnel appointed by TN) erronous information in earlier fairs. I know that TN will not host both Kuzgun and LWTs on the same unmanned platform. That is another case if they couldn't find any other way to display and fitted those aboard ASW variant to let it mistaken as sonobuoy launcher.

During the Operational Experimentation phase of the NATO Maritime Security Exercise between 16-20 October 2023, it successfully carried out joint operational missions with 1 GABYA Class Frigate, 2 Coast Guard Boats, 1 Coast Guard RHIB Boat, 1 UAV and 1 SAT Team belonging to the Naval Forces and Coast Guard Command."

I wonder if they started serial production of Ulaq, or postponed it until domestic engine is completed.

This part is personal comment:

Apart from this, Havelsan and other USV manufacturers have agreed upon principles to discuss and implement ADVENT integration in all USVs. This is so far a major requirement by Navy, such that all USVs and UAVs to be delivered in future shall be ADVENT compatible.
