MIL STD 810g testing is done at -55 for storage and -40 for operation as far as I can see from a few testers websites

I think aselflir 500, CATS and wescam images (obvious from the screen interfaces) are being compared (e.g. vibration turbulence).

and my love..
They must be the two different prototype products. It being made calibration test on the AR2. These and maybe more prototype being tried/ will tried on several air vehicles. On this picture there is "sign AR2", but on post https://defencehub.live/threads/sensors-and-detector-programs.340/post-296897
The same device have "sign AR1"?
Are they same device or not?
Wow this shows what ASELSAN is really capable of. They made 220 mm optical aperture fit into 220 mm body. Zero waste.View attachment 62980 aselflir500 vs wescam specs
It refers to the lens diameter. The number for the MX-15D seems to be incorrect. The actual body of the two units is a similar width - 48cm for AF-500 and 42cm for MX-15D.Wow this shows what ASELSAN is really capable of. They made 220 mm optical aperture fit into 220 mm body. Zero waste.
Additional info:Aselflir-500 serial production will start in February 2024. I expect an initial production rate of 8 per month probably doubled to 16 after some time. The Aselflir-500 project moved really smoothly thanks to experiences gained from the CATS project.
Additional info:
160 CATS have been produced so far with monthly production rate of 15-20. 60 of them were exported.
Aselflir-500 value per kg is $20k
Is an Aselflir-500 really prices more than $1 million?
YENER:
- 2D and 3D imaging of the underground with high resolution
- Detection and identification of metal, non-metal targets and improvised explosives
- cable detection
- Multiple target detection
- The vehicle will contribute to power and survivability in the field with its ability to operate while moving
1 million $ is a very competitive export price for a system like Aselflir-500. Most countries can't even get an export license from Western countries for a laser designator with a power output similar to that of Aselflir-500. Customers will get a camera with better image performance, a longer-range laser designator, and an HD SWIR sensor which is missing in the MX-15.Is an Aselflir-500 really prices more than $1 million?
