MIL STD 810g testing is done at -55 for storage and -40 for operation as far as I can see from a few testers websites

Excellent observation, that would clear the confusion then.

I think aselflir 500, CATS and wescam images (obvious from the screen interfaces) are being compared (e.g. vibration turbulence).

and my love..

On this picture there is "sign AR2", but on post https://defencehub.live/threads/sensors-and-detector-programs.340/post-296897
The same device have "sign AR1"?

Are they same device or not?

Karabük University will produce high-resolution domestic and national display technology for military purposes.

According to the statement made by the university, Faculty of Technology Mechatronics Engineering Lecturer Prof. Dr. Mustafa Anutgan and Faculty of Engineering Medical Engineering Lecturer Prof. Dr. Tamila Anutgan is developing the display back panel with the work "Development of Thin Film Transistor Arrays" within the scope of the "Miniature OLED Display Unit Development Project".

The studies carried out at the Iron and Steel Institute Materials Research and Development Center (MARGEM) aim to design and produce screens with military specifications, high resolution and contrast ratio, tailored to the needs and completely independently.

In the project, as a result of the acquisition of OLED technology by ASELSAN, which can create moving images and support colored pixel structures, high-resolution original screens can be specially designed in the desired sizes for military purposes.

"We are moving to high resolution at the current stage"

Prof. Dr. Tamila Anutgan stated that, thanks to the project they carried out with ASELSAN, they will be able to produce domestically produced high-resolution screens.

Stating that they have previously produced thin film transistors for AMOLED screens from glass with their own means, Anutgan said, "As a result of the negotiations with ASELSAN and the support given, it will be possible to implement thin film transistor array production in industry. We can produce various thin films that have semiconductor, insulator and metal properties." ." he said.

Stating that they aim to produce a screen prototype by using thin film transistor array and organic light emitting diode, Anutgan said, "We have a low resolution prototype. At the current stage, we are moving to high resolution. While continuing our research, our aim was only to contribute to the international literature. Thanks to this project we carried out with ASELSAN, nationalization is now in question." "And in our defense industry, index production with thin film transistors will be possible." made his assessment.

"We will be able to produce our product with our own design without having to wait for an order."

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Anutgan stated that they are the first and only group to produce thin film transistors at device quality and that ASELSAN, which was aware of this development, contacted them and started the project because it has a mission to progress in this field.

Stating that they initially produced a low-resolution screen prototype within the scope of the project, Anutgan stated that in the high-resolution stage, they started to take separate measurements and results from each pixel in the screen.

Anutgan pointed out that screen technology is one of the basic parts of today and said:

"It is used in many areas, from mobile phones to televisions, but you can think of the civilian market as being under the monopoly of certain large companies. The screens we produce will be applied mostly to private use and to screens in the military field because we work with ASELSAN. The difference between these screens and civilian screens is that they do not tolerate terrain, temperature, dust and water conditions. It must have certain features to ensure

When screens are needed in military applications, we will be able to produce our product with our own design without having to wait for any orders from outside. We produced the prototype in low resolution, things get more complex and difficult in high resolution. We have come a long way here too, we can take measurements by addressing specific pixels within the matrix. It will take a few years for this to fully translate to the screen. "We hope to see our displays in working order and in prototype form within a few years."

CENK is on duty!
ASELSAN CENK 3B AESA Naval Platform Search Radar with two-axis electronic scanning was developed with a software and hardware architecture that can be quickly adapted to the need and evolving threat environment.
We continue to develop the best nationally and locally for the defense of the blue homeland.

Nothing can escape from AKREP
ASELSAN AKREP Naval Dual-Band Fire Control Radar generates track information with high accuracy, while being able to provide X-Band illumination for semi-active surface-to-air missiles.

Aselflir-500 serial production will start in February 2024. I expect an initial production rate of 8 per month probably doubled to 16 after some time. The Aselflir-500 project moved really smoothly thanks to experiences gained from the CATS project.

Additional info:

160 CATS have been produced so far with monthly production rate of 15-20. 60 of them were exported.

Aselflir-500 value per kg is $20k

YENER:
- 2D and 3D imaging of the underground with high resolution
- Detection and identification of metal, non-metal targets and improvised explosives
- cable detection
- Multiple target detection
- The vehicle will contribute to power and survivability in the field with its ability to operate while moving

The YENER-Modern Mine Detection System ensures the highest level of personnel safety by detecting, classifying and marking Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and mines. Operating through radar and metal detectors directed by mechanisms of the integrated armored vehicle, system provides countermeasures against mines and explosives laid along its operational path.

It counters mines and explosives on its path and, with advanced radar algorithms, ASELSAN YENER System detects various targets in different ground types.

Is an Aselflir-500 really prices more than $1 million?
1 million $ is a very competitive export price for a system like Aselflir-500. Most countries can't even get an export license from Western countries for a laser designator with a power output similar to that of Aselflir-500. Customers will get a camera with better image performance, a longer-range laser designator, and an HD SWIR sensor which is missing in the MX-15.

The PİRİ-100, as a part of the TCG ANADOLU, has been incorporated into the inventory of the Turkish Naval Forces. The system stands out with its continuous 360-degree detection capabilities in the infrared band, enabling it to detect, track, and classify targets efficiently.
