You speak like you can replace patriots in a week's time.

You produce these drones during peace time. They are cheap and easy to produce. When needed you use them in batches. Once strategic ADSs are down, your enemy has a big hole in it's air defence system.

EW, Laser and SHORAD enter the chat.
There is a reason why those drones are cheap. They often only use GPS or GLONASS and are slow.
And there are radars whose purpose is to detect small and slow targets.
And good luck firing "thousands" of drones without getting noticed.

Or am i missing here something?

TB2s total flight time has passed 750k hours.

In the third minute of the video there is a blank map of Africa in the style of a wikipedia sketch. The video was probably supposed to show all the operator countries, but for some reason that part must have been replaced by an empty African continent map. Bayraktar is the biggest military phenomenon on the African continent currently.

Baykar's UAV test and development centers were included in the scope of investment areas

The Decision Amending the Presidential Decree No. 1504, Dated 4 September 2019, Regarding the Provision of Project-Based State Aid for the Investment of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Smart Systems Production Facility to be Built in Istanbul, entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette.

The phrase "investment location to be supported", which was previously "Istanbul", was changed to "Istanbul, Edirne, Tekirdağ provinces and Baykar Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ, Istanbul Private Industrial Zone and additional areas".

UAV and smart systems production facility investments to be made in these areas will also be included in the scope of project-based state incentives.

In addition to the R&D center in Istanbul, which Baykar established with the income it earned from export revenues, the UAV test and development centers in Edirne and Tekirdağ Çorlu, where it continues to invest entirely with its own resources, will operate within the scope of the industrial zone.

Turkish defense industry will conduct surveillance with "baby drone"

Lapis Aviation, which carries out unmanned aerial vehicle projects, exhibited the hybrid thrust robot HİRO at the 3rd Military Logistics and Support Summit. HİRO, which has the ability to fly with its rotating wings that move on land with its wheels, also contains a micro unmanned aerial vehicle, a "baby drone", in its main body.

Lapis Aviation Deputy General Manager Tansel Nuran Birdir made a statement to the AA correspondent about the hybrid propulsion robot HİRO project, which was developed to be used in surveillance missions in narrow and closed spaces.

Stating that the system has 3 basic features, Birdir said that they created a hybrid solution in this context.

Pointing out that HİRO can operate both on land and in the air, Birdir stated that they developed the vehicle especially for use in narrow and closed environments.

Birdir explained that the vehicle gained the ability to perform its duties in a closed environment for a long time by leaving the modems on it at certain intervals, and stated that they equipped the vehicle with many obstacle detection sensors. Birdir said:

"In this way, our vehicle can detect 360-degree obstacles and perform its mission by centering the completely closed environment, thanks to the LAPİS autopilot to which artificial intelligence algorithms have been added. We prefer it to go in land mode to extend its mission time. However, when it encounters an obstacle, it can overcome it by taking off. We also have a baby drone. This daughter drone is also designed to penetrate into narrower areas in an indoor environment. Both our main drone and our daughter drone have electrooptical and infrared sensors. Tansel Nuran Birdir stated that the widest length of the large drone in HİRO is 28 centimeters, the size of the "baby drone" is 10-15 centimeters, and its weight is limited to 100-150 grams.

The model shown looks like it was printed, not molded. This is already used a lot in prototype modeling, but the idea of a micro drone that can be printed in the field doesn't sound bad.

The most important issue is we have to beat Chinese mini civil drone as soon as possible.

Pretty hard if you ask me, but at least we must ensure that we are not tied in any way to Chinese parts for our mini drones and have a high production capacity.

Here, the landing of the Mojave UAV on HMS Prince of Wales is shared quite clearly. The ship's flight deck is about 280 meters, and if I am not mistaken, Mojave is seen to come to a full stop under 170 meters, on the middle of the deck. Of course, in experimental configuration, which probably means completely empty. What is remarkable in the video is that although we can guess from stats, it is quite unusual to see such a low approach speed in a real video footage compared to conventional jets.

The TB3 system has a lower MTOW, even though a (presumably) slightly smaller wing area, I think it would be reasonable to assume that the Bayraktar solution will have an approach speed even slower than the Mojave.

The TB-3 is definitely a perfect fit for the TCG Anadolu and similar LHD ships in navies around the world. In fact, I can even imagine that there may be countries that would consider acquiring LHD platforms just to acquire TB-3s.

Hmm......looks like Selçuk Bayraktar lost the challenge with General Atomics.🙃

but nevertheless he probably gave them a little run for their money.

On an experimental level, yes. GA has already landed its Mojave on a ship designed and operated entirely for fixed wing operations. I won't go into the difference between the two ships, ship is ship. lol. But still, my two cents to Bayraktar, their aircraft will be in active inventory first, I mean somewhere it will go and gain combatproven status, while GA continue experimental flights.

Still wishing that we see PD300H on TB3 for some more payload assuming we can strengthen the structure. Just imagine being able to take off with 4 UAV122 or a swarm of KEMANKEŞ.

In this case that's incorrect. There were already uav landing on aircraft carriers. The race is about landing on LHA / LHD, whereas prince of wales is a proper aircraft carrier

The reason why that matters is because
1. Very few countries have aircraft carriers and quite a few more have helicopter carriers and amphibious assault ships
2. For US Marine Corps, Mojave landing on things like Wasp class gives them a lot more flexibility and agility without relying on carrier strike groups

Plenty of TB2S models on this still with Satcoms. None of them have Turkish flags. I wonder TB2S make what percentage of TB2 exports.
