The only major news outlets that I found that said this was The Global Times and SCMP. The former being a CCP mouthpiece while the latter is a Hong Kong based outlet. I know that you know when it comes to press, the PRC isn't exactly influence free. I'm not saying Western outlets aren't influence free but compared to Chinese newspapers, they might as well be.

I would also like to point out the lack of studies on Wuhan as the outbreak origin from Chinese outlets. Curious isn't it?

China lied, people died.

The consequences will mount up on China going forward.

Its better to see the bigger picture (and focus on reaching out to people who's opinions actually matter) than get too wrapped up fighting each CCP-stronk fella...seemingly stuck in China too.

Time is valuable. They can learn on their own time. Its just better that way.

99.999% foreign sites are not blocked, US also starts to ban Chinese social media platforms, the two countries are not very friendly to each other. besides, English language sites don't have many viewers in China.

Yeah but your government blocks sites like YouTube, Google, Twitter, Reddit, and Facebook. The sites where the Chinese populous can interact with the rest of the world, which the CCP doesn't want.

The last thing Xi wants to see is the Chinese people see the Japanese or Americans as normal human beings and not forces of capitalist imperialism waiting to cut and kill the Chinese people.

There's no such thing as "friendly media". In most parts of the world it's free media, they can either praise or criticise things according to the facts at hand. It just so happens that a country ran by a totalitarian communist party isn't very open to the fact that it can be criticised.

Just look at Chinese newspaper outlets for example, after years of silencing and censorship of the CCP most if not all the articles that come out are positive. I have yet to see one that criticise anything that the CCP does.

They all lie, but use different tactics, we don't fully trust our official media cause everyone knows they lie, but westerners tend to trust their " free media" without any conditions, that's why westerners are more brainwashed than the Chinese.
